Range Rover P38 setting tool
This setting tool for the Range Rover P38 automatic gearbox was a little difficult to find on the internet and when I did find one, the price was quite high, so I turned to Amazon and they had them at half the price of the internet seller. Strangely the item from Amazon was the same product that the internet seller was selling, but was cheaper by a tenner from Amazon.The Range Rover P38 automatic gearbox can go out of synch if you start it in gear, which is easily done as sometimes the gearbox inhibitor switch can go faulty. This then makes the gearbox think there is a fault on it and quite often the low range cannot be selected. A quick recalibration with this setting tool puts the gearbox back to factory setting and works again as it should.
