Challenging to extremely difficult arrangements
I was very excited to buy this book and was concerned it might be too easy because the songs are Disney. However, when the book arrived and I played it, it was obvious that this is not even an intermediate book but appropriate for EXPERT piano and violin players. I took 3 years of piano lessons and consider myself to be an intermediate piano player, having taught myself how to play a lot of Debussy (including Clair de Lune) and Philip Glass using sheet music books and even playing in bands. What the cover does not tell you is that these arrangements are the same as those on the Jenny Oaks Baker "Wish Upon a Star" 2011 CD. I suggest you go to iTunes and preview the CD to see how complicated the arrangements are! Extremely challenging. For the piano part, the easiest is Beauty and the Beast, which I find do-able for my skill level. I could sight read the first 3 pages easily and feel like with a lot of practice I could get the rest down (three key changes, lots of high and fast octaves, and dreadfully having to stretch across 10-keys which small hands or children cannot do). The hardest was A Whole New World, which has a challenging tango-like tempo and way too many sharps and flats. Seems like only a professional piano player could get this one down.My partner who is doing the violin part also finds the violin notes to be challenging and require a lot of practice, with a lot of fast scales and frequent key changes and grace notes. I read somewhere else that the level of the violin arrangement is Suzuki level 10.It is rare, unfortunately, to find good violin/piano duet books for popular songs. I wish this book was just a tad easier, but I guess practicing until we get the songs down will eventually pay off, since the arrangements are beautiful.

Not for beginners.
Definitely not for beginners as the other reviewers stated. My 11 year old daughter and her friend purchased this for their talent show so they could do a duet. Both have been playing for five years. They could tackle the simpler arrangements with support from their teachers and some modifications to the arrangements.

Easy to follow
My son loves to play Disney songs on his violin. This book is easy enough to read though he’s slowly graduating from this level. Still good selection of music from good old Disney.

Great!
I had bought this for a student, but when I got it, it's a lot harder than the sneak peeks had made it seem. So unfortunately, the student can't use it yet, but it's definitely a good level for me to play with. So Excellent book!

Very Difficult
Very difficult arrangements for advanced/professional players. Not what I was expecting. I'm a violin teacher who bought this thinking I would use it with students. The students capable of playing this are usually not looking for Disney tunes.
