Heroes' Feast Flavors of the Multiverse (Dungeons & Dragons): An Official D&D Cookbook Review: Lots of Fun Recipes! Eat your way across the Multiverse! - I was very excited to purchase this cookbook, as I have the previous Heroes' Feast and enjoy it's recipes. This book is by far better. The recipes are layed out in a MUCH more efficient manner, and make better use of all of the space on the pages. The cooks notes are helpful and thoughtful for the cook and the person eating the creation. Lots of gorgeous photos for many of the recipes, but not a photo for everything. You will have to decipher the looks of some things on your own. I would also say that this is a more eclectic collection of recipes within the pages. Heroes' Feast, the previous book, was a lot of familiar things renamed cleverly. This book seems to take you on a bit more of a culinary adventure. There is a lot of flavor/story elements sprinkled throughout the book. All of the art for these are very nice. But if I had my way, I would have a bit less of the narrative and a few more recipes. I don't mind the narrative and I don't mind the little preface to set the scene before each recipe, but I will always be more interested in recipes over story bits in a cookbook. After looking through the Heroes' Feast Multiverse contents I settled on trying out the Fey Fritters from the Feywild section, for the first/test recipe. These turned out to be quite lovely. as they are a sort of pea puree based latke/pancake. I will certainly be making these again, as well as other delights. If you are a D&D enthusiast, and if you like to cook, this one is a fun addition to your Dragon's horde of kitchen items. Eat your way across the Multiverse! Review: Well worth getting both books in the set. - Bought it as a gift. I love the illustrations in it and the way that the book is set up with store lines and recipes.

Good quality with pictures of finished dishes
Good quality. I bought this as a gift for my daughter and can't wait to give it to her. It is a very well-made book, I love the spiral binding for ease in reading it and following the recipes, and the recipes look yummy, the photos of the finished dishes are good.

There are no beards in the recipes
Those Green Dragon Blackbread Muffins were the bomb, but I have to be honest: when I first read the recipe, I thought it was gross in my mind because I misread the title. I thought it said Green Dragon Blackbeard Muffins. My immediate thought was, where were you going to get that specific ingredient, and why would you eat muffins with someone's beard in it? Getting a green dragon is no problem, and I wouldn't mind trying some green dragon, but I'm not eating some random dude's beard.

Overall A Fun Book!
Overall a fun book filled with interesting recipes. There are a few that questionably take up an entire page (like seriously does this recipe need an entire page?) but most of the recipes look great and sound incredibly fun to make. I look forward to trying them all! Overall I would say it’s worth the price, especially for avid D&D players who love to cook!

Friendly meals for all diets that look sooo goood!!!!
Damn. Everything looks so good, maybe even better than the first one somehow! And plenty of fish recipes if you’ve got pescatarian friends like we do, if you just like fish! I can’t wait to make all of these! Looking forward to seeing if there will be another!

Enhance your campaign
Confession: this has to be a secondhand review as it was a gift for my adult D&D geek son and his buddies. My son assures me that the drinks and recipes in this book are a delight for fans of D&D, and a real addition to their campaigns.

Pleasantly surprised - was expecting some regular recipes with silly names to make it fantasy-themed, or some hastily-written things that would have to be heavily adjusted, but the recipes in this book are amazing! They are creative and really feel like food from different places and cultures, and (at least the ones I've made so far) are all really delicious! I can't believe it, I am actually tempted to try the one for roast crickets. The little narratives in between the sections are hilarious. I'm so happy. I bought this as an impulse purchase and was worried I would regret it, but no regrets here whatsoever, this book is going to get a lot of use.
