Spicy & flavorful hot sauce
Spicy, yet still flavorful, not too spicy, not overpowering. I don't use extra salt when I cook; but the vinegar taste makes up for low salt on my food. I have used this hot sauce since the late 80s, when"Uncle Steve's" changed their recipe from a bright, vinegar-y, flavor to a flat, can't taste the vinegar, spicy only recipe. Tabasco is too, too, spicy for me, so I tried "Crystal Louisiana Hot Sauce" & never looked back. I saw another review that claimed they found something in the bottle; that's why I decided to write one. In the over 40 years I've been using Crystal Hot Sauce, I have never been let down by the quality & freshness of this product. I wanted review readers to know that Crystal Hot Sauce is a good quality product. On an unrelated note, when I met my Son-in-law, he realized he had to double up on his hot sauce purchase because we both LOVE Crystal. *\(^~^)/*

My Go-To Hot Sauce
I have loved Crystal Hot Sauce from the first time I tasted on buffalo wings my boyfriend made me. If you're looking for a hot sauce that is focused on flavor, this is the one to buy.

Good stuff
This is my favorite Louisiana style hot sauce. Great flavor and good heat. Tangy but not overly vinegary like Tabasco. Price is also good. Try it!

Pretty good!
I was recommend this by a friend who knows I love Franks sauce, and she is from the South and suggested this one. I have to say the label is a bit of a turn off - I would have never picked this up in a store as it looks kinda cheap and generic. BUT I enjoyed it! Its a bit thinner than I like, and less heat and tang than Franks, but it's a nice alternative to my favorite.

Pure & tasty
For chili sauce without other flavorings, thickeners or chemical preservatives, it's Crystal or Tabasco, and Crystal tends to be a lot cheaper.
