Savic Puppy Trainer Starter Kit, Large, 62.5 x 48 x 4 cm, 7 Pads of 60 x 45 cm

I ordered the large because the small/medium was out of stock, and I am really glad I did. My dog is very small, but because she is a puppy in training she needs a little extra space to make mistakes, I don't feel the small/medium would have given her this. I feel that if she was a puppy Labrador, (as advertised on the picture) then this would have been far too small.It doesn't move accross or around the floor as it has rubber stoppers,We have purchased some extra puppy pads, but to be honest we are going through them very slowly as newspaper on top of a liner is sufficient, at this stage of her puppy training.I feel it is an excellent product, even for when she is fully grown, as if a dog can have a pad down at night, it will ease the stress of any dog.I also feel that when she is fully grown the size will still be perfect, as she will be trained and used to it by then.I do feel the company should make them a little bigger for bigger puppies, as although quite tidy, and easy to walk past in my narrow hall. I just feel it is not big enough for a larger puppy.I can see how a puppy labrador like the one in the picture, could easily destroy it, by tearing the pad out and chewing the plastic, so after reading reviews by other buyers I can totally see where they are coming from.But for us this is an excellent and well worth the money.

9 week old Cockapoo pup trained to use this within a few days. Other puppy pads can be bought to fit (60 x 45) and I am using those purchased already...however absorbent there is a limit ...and it needs changing. It is best to turn the kit over to see where the rim needs to click through and hold it and the pad in place....then all ok. Not sure how long it will be useful as the pup grows....but hoping the idea will stick in her mind even when she is bigger... I am pleased with it!

It's a good product and very useful for my puppy's potty training. However, my puppy loved to scratch the pads so had to get another toilet which has a plastic cover on the surface so he cannot ruin the pads.

I bought this for my Scottie Pup, fortunately I went for the large as this is roughly the same size as a standard puppy pad from BM/Home Bargains etc.It did stop leaks on the floor but I purchased more in the hope the rim would fully secure the pad down and stop the naughty pup from ripping up the pads - it didn't.It does do exactly as it says on the tin though and whilst it wasn't the ideal solution for us it will probably be just perfect for others.

This is a nice size starter kit and I like the way that it holds the pad in place nice and securely. My pup soon got the idea of using it and I have had no problems. I have a Dachshund pup which as you know is a small breed, but I am still pleased I decided to go for the large starter kit as it gives her plenty of room to move and I think the medium wouldn't have been big enough. So you have larger breed pups think you would need a bigger size. Item was well packaged and delivered very fast. Usual good service I have come to expect from Amazon.

Louis eats and chews E V E R Y T H I N G - and I wanted some kind of puppy pad options that would encourage him to use them for their purpose, not as a toy. I'd seen one other much more expensive option, but they were out of stock, so I decided to give this a go and it's BRILLIANT! The pads clip in securely, and the tray is a great size for my dog. He never once chewed it, and because the pad was gripped in, he was unable to try and pull it up. Brilliant!

I do agree with the lady writing that you should never tell your puppy off for going somewhere else than on the paper but that doesn't really change the fact that this is a simply replacement for newspaper or whatever your puppy normally goes on - and it's brilliant. No more pee on the floor running off the paper it stays where it is suppossed to and the pads lasts at least a whole day before you have to change them. The only con is that it's more expensive than using newspapers but definitely worth it.
