Swiss Arabian Delicacies 😋
First of, I have both Oud Tonka and Oud Ahmar. I'm going to be honest, oud tonka when I first smelled it, was almost play doh weird like scent in the background. I let it macerate for about 1 month, and you can really smell the different notes now. It's so delicious and just...gorgeous. Oud Tonka is a lot sweeter than Oud Ahmar and very almond forward. A lot of people have mentioned a cherry like note in Oud Tonka, but thankfully, I don't get that on me at all. I am left with sugared almonds mixed with vanilla and floral of course the oud- but is not prominent. As for Oud Ahmar, I just got and am letting it macerate. But its sweet, refreshing, classy, fruity-musky- beautiful for the summer I think. I definitely recommend these and although higher in price than other arabian perfumes out there, I think they last a good amount. I get about 5-7 hours on skin and a little over 8 on clothes. Oud Tonka imo projects more.Very happy customer.

Currently looking at other scents because I need MOREE
Wasn’t what I was expecting smell-wise. It might be leaning on the masculine side for scents but I think it’s good. This is a strong LASTING perfume. Do not overspray, a little goes a long way with this. Normally I would get annoyed about how perfumes often dissipate in scent, DO NOT WORRY WITH THIS ONE.

Strong scent
This is one of my favourite Arabian scents, I almost never run out! I put my mom and cousin on and they are inlove as well. This fragrance is very strong even after washing your clothes the scent is still there.

Awesome!
***This is a review for BOTH Shaghaf Oud and Oud Aswad (gold bottle, black bottle)***Shaghaf Oud (gold bottle) is a perfect fragrance for women like myself who aren't into the fruity florals constantly being marketed to us. Smooth, rich, warm, and definitely gourmand, this is a beautiful addition to my accumulation of Arabian oud-based perfumes. I can't stop smelling myself when I wear this. The saffron opening and subtle oud in the background add depth and keep you from smelling completely like a bakery, but you WILL smell edible nonetheless. Apparently the sillage and projection aren't bad either, since strangers have walked up to me in stores and complimented me on it. As to longevity, I can wear this all day, jump in the pool for an hour, and still catch whiffs on my skin afterward. For me, Shaghaf Oud is late afternoon sun and warm summer nights. Seductive is its middle name. Fans of amber, tonka bean, and of course oud will enjoy this.Another, similar fragrance is Lattafa's Oud Mood, but I have both because the latter has a delightfully subtle floral opening and the woodiness is more present all the way through the drydown. Also, Oud Mood doesn't last as long and wears a bit more lightly if you're afraid of overwhelming people with the Shaghaf. If you're looking for a more pronounced woodiness though, check out Lattafa's Raghba Wood Intense for all of the gourmand but also lots of smoke, spice, and more pronounced oud. I have all three. For a more oriental, slightly (but not cloyingly) berry note, go for the Shaghaf Oud Aswad (black bottle). That's beautiful as well, a bit like Narciso Rodriguez' original black bottle ("Her") and Jesus del Pozo's now-discontinued In Black. The oud sits in the background of this fragrance as well, and Aswad overall has a much different mood to it. Some may find it a bit heavy, for night, or more for colder weather, but I wear fragrance based on what I'm feeling, not time or season. It is definitely not for the 20's set, as it is way too nuanced to appeal to young noses. The opening is floriental with a bit of fruity undertone- my nose isn't sophisticated enough to pick up on what fruit, exactly. It has the characteristic woodiness that should be there in any perfume that has "oud" in the name. It doesn't last as long as the gold bottle, but the projection is every bit as mighty. When you want to smell like a grown woman but aren't going for the edible, gourmand component, wear the Aswad. I wear the gold bottle more frequently, but when I'm feeling the black bottle, I can't stop smelling myself with that one on either. They are different, but equally worthy, additions to any fan of ouds.No idea how either of these wear on men, I can only speak from my own standpoint. A good fragrance is a good fragrance no matter who wears it, in my opinion.

I liked this one a lot.
Very pleasant. Unisex, but leans more masculine (but I'm a woman and I wore the heck out of this and would again). Good projection, not beast mode for me. Smells clean and powdery.

not quite what i was expecting
smells solely and very strongly of sugared almonds and vanilla to me. no clue why this is a shaghaf oud flanker, should just be it own thing. if extremely strong sweet and sugary almond is what you’re looking for, this is it. if not, don’t recommend blind buying whatsoever like i did. i was expecting a slightly more mature or nuanced take on almonds given this is shaghaf, and this is not it.

This perfume is a very unique fragrance. I must warn you that it is now for everyone. You have to be an oud lover. The fragrance is smooth. The vanilla is potent, nicely blended with the oud and long lasting approximately 6 hour on ski n.
