The media could not be loaded. I have had this device for about a month. It is a high quality , well made hand held red light machine. I already have panel lights so I am very familiar with the benefits and am sold on the technology. But the panels are stationery and inconvenient for use away from their more permanent location. THIS device IS portable.It feels great in your hand, the insurrections are an easy to read color booklet - no cheap foldout piece of paper here. The interface is easy to use and not at all confusing. You hold the on off button down for a couple seconds to turn it off or on. You can choose pulse light or continuous. There are four power levels and a timer. The box comes with a pair of safety glasses but I think you have to make your own judgment whether to use or not. The first time I turned on a red light device I thought it would blind me permanently. Now my eyes tolerate it well and I believe the light waves are good for my eyes. Think similar to sunrise and sunset. Same type light and it helps set my circadian cycle.Let’s talk about the pulse light option. My expensive panels don’t have that and they have read evidence that it is even more beneficial. I LOVE LOVE LOVE that feature.How will I use this device? It’s great for hair growth and hubby has hair thinning right at the crown. It’s so easy to hold this light there for a very few minutes to stimulate the hair follicles. I will use it on my face to rejuvenate the cell mitochondria and collagen for more youthful skin. I have only one joint in my whole body that has pain (thankfully) and it is one big toe joint. It’s so so easy to use this light on that joint for a few minutes daily to help alleviate inflammation but stimulating the cells. My almost 80 year old mon had two different knee surgeries. At inconvenient as it was, I took my panel over and left it at her house. The. I went a two or three times a day to help her get red light on her knee. I am not exaggerating when I say the doctor and the PT were both shocked at how fast she healed and got back to normal activities. There was a small incision site on the back of her leg that started getting red and puffy. So we added light to the backside for a couple days and the swelling went away.I highly recommend this handheld therapy device. It is just the right size to be comfortable in your hand, substantial but not too heavy, has a nice smooth feel and is easy to use. But the benefits are the real reason to buy!!!!! Don’t hesitate.

This hand held red light therapy works with repeated use. I like the included glasses for eye protection, too. It is chargeable and good for travel. It has nice features like solid or flickering light as well as increasing or decreasing the light intensity and a timer. However, I found to turn it on I had to press the 'on' button for a long time and I had to press hard. It could just be than mine has this issue but due to this I do not use it as often as my red light therapy belt. I just take this for trips. Also, while it is nice that you can pin point certain areas with this hand held but I found my hand can also get tired holding it for long periods. 3 1/2 stars

A couple months ago I got my first red light device to try. It's a pen size device meant for small skin ailments. Unfortunately it came with no directions on how to use it so I had to do a bit of research. I also came across countless health issues that can be treated or aided in treatment with red light so my first experiment has been on a case of toenail fungus I've had for 10+ years and failed to eradicate with every OTC or home remedy I could find. I had given up until now. I won't go into the gross details but the progress I've made in the past month and a half with daily treatment of red light has been nothing short of amazing.I wanted a red light device with the ability to treat a larger surface area so I could tackle some other issues I've been having and I chose this Frovab handheld device to try. This device is really easy to use. You can choose to set a time, strength and mode of constant or pulsed light. It's also cordless which is a big plus because my smaller one isn't. It shows the battery life in the corner of the display so you know when it's getting low and needs recharged. It also comes with a usb adapter, a really long charging cord,a nice set of laser safety glasses and an easy to read instruction booklet that includes recommendations on how to use it.This is an all around excellent handheld red light device that effectively eases aches and pains and helps heal wounds and other skin ailments.

The media could not be loaded. I'm a huge fan of red light therapy. I have a smaller pen device and larger devices and wanted something mid-sized that's portable but still covers a good area. This is it. It's lightweight so it doesn't become tiring holding it. The screen is clear and easy to read. Very simple to use. Comes with a long cord if you desire to keep it plugged in but it's rechargeable therefore the cord is not always needed. For the purpose of pain relief, don't expect long term relief. Typically this temporarily relieves arthritic pain and other inflammation. But there are times the pain doeant return for a while.Still, red light is go for skin and tissue in general.For those that don't know... if you get fever blisters and cold sores, use the red light at the first sign of tingling and likely you won't get a full outbreak. I swear by the red light.Anyway, this device makes it easy to use anywhere and on any part of the body due to its size.Different light settings. I feel some warmth on the higher settings. Timer built in and protective eyewear included.I'm very satisfied.
