Cigarette lighter. etc. For the most part it pulls the remaining voltage off the dying battery. Compiles and gives you strong charge to crank the engine. This is not a battery pack.

Clarification. The 3000A is stated, but I also note ‘500 A’. This would be a more realistic figure. It would also be sufficient to start nearly any vehicle. I again refer you to ‘Project Farm’ latest test & definitive results.

No, it needs the battery to work.
