I chose this product because of the ingredient list and the promise of smooth blending in cold liquid - that's been an issue with other protein powders. I did not quite prepare it according to instructions (my recipe follows) but it tastes like a coffeehouse sweet iced creamed coffee with no bitterness from caffeine powder and I love that one serving is the same caffeine as a cup of coffee. I am super sensitive to caffeine and usually just have it 1x/day to avoid migraines, but I love coffee and drink decaf all day (cold during the hot months) so this powder gives me easy flexibility. 1 scoop of Ascent Iced Coffee Protein Powder 2 "glugs" heavy whipping cream ~30 ounces cold drip brew decaf from the pitcher I keep in the fridge all summer Used my Maestri House rechargeable frother to blend the powder with the hwc and half the cold coffee, then stirred in the rest of the coffee with a straw. Perfection. I am so pleased. Nice smooth caffeine energy with no bitterness or jitters and no sugar crash. The protein & the fat from the hwc make energy that takes me from 9-5. I love that it's keto/low-carb so I keep burning fat all day. There were no clumps left in my cup or on the frother. The price point is really good and the ingredients list is clean. I'm so pleased. I subscribed with Sub & Save so I'm not going to run out.

This is the best coffee protein powder I have found. I will be buying more. Its not sweet...the texture is good it doesn't clump like most I've tried and it's a good value for the money.

Easy to make, great tasting and very drinkable. Quite refreshing on a hot summer day. I like the fact it adds protein and the taste is fantastic with little calorie intake. Great value for the money. I plan on reordering this drink.

Blends well in cold water. Does not blend in hot beverages due to the whey protein. Taste is good but a bit too sweet for me. I used 1/2 scoop in water and added a double shot of espresso to cut back on the sweetness.

I LOVE several other flavors of Ascent Protein - the Vanilla and Chocolate Peanut Butter are my favs but the Chocolate and Lemon are also good. I've used this protein powder for years - it has no chemicals and is a really easy way to supplement with clean protein. HOWEVER - this flavor is really bad. I mixed it, had a sip and stopped. Was going to toss it, but thought maybe I should give it a second taste. Nope - this is very strange ( at least to me). I highly recommend other flavors - the Vanilla and Choc Peanut Butter are pretty wonderful.

To all those low star reviews saying it’s nasty and pasty. It’s really depends on how you make it. Flavor is really not that bad unless you have sensitive taste buds. The way I prepped mine. I put 1 cup of milk a scoop for the powder into the blender. I blended it before adding one frozen banana, then proceed to blend that as well together. once done I poured into a cup of ice and drank it like that. The Main taste, I got was the banana with a hint of coffee, and as the ice melted, made my drink a bit more thinner, less thick, which is ideal for me. Over all I like this way more than the other strong tasting proteins that are vanilla flavor.

Ummmm, where have you been all my life? My two favorite things: caffeine and protein and you’re telling me I can get BOTH in one go? And a decent amount per serving without sacrificing calories or taste?!?? No seriously, I’m ordering a couple more of these asap bc I live in fear of my favorite items suddenly not being available. Genuinely tasty, it has some sort of sweetener in it that could be off putting but the overall taste reminded me of those little automatic cappuccino machines you see at a gas station when it’s 2 am, you have 500 more miles to go and you need a fix. It’s not a state of the art cortado tasting kind of coffee flavor, I honestly bet you could add a genuine espresso shot to this if you need that REAL coffee flavor but the taste is good!! It’s like cheap yet still yummy coffee tasting. It beats any other traditional protein shake after taste any day!! Not chalky, dumped a scoop and gave it a bad stir into straight tap water and it mixed perfectly on its own, no lumps!! Soooooo filling. I had this around the time I usually have some sort of craving and wow. No food noise, no hunger pains, perfect energy where I didn’t feel jittery or overstimulated or tired!!! Idk. This stuff is good. It’s the best of both worlds and does the trick. I appreciate it and will be using it with a shot of espresso to get that extra boost/ flavor but I appreciate it curbing my hunger, keeping me full and energized and helping me reach my protein goals.

Good taste and has the most protein of any coffee protein powder I’ve found. Mixes nicely in a shaker bottle or with a frother. Add to 8oz of milk to add extra protein. I’ve tried Javvy too and this stuff is better.
