I’ve sent the week crawling around an attic, which is extremely dark and uninviting. I used to work in head-torch light as it’s what I had. I saw this on Amazon and took a chance and bought it; it has made working in confined spaces a lot easier. It has a powerful clamp that grips onto surfaces up to a couple of inches thick, so I have been fixing it to the woodwork in the attic and moving it as I’ve worked my way along the attic space. It is well built and good value for the money.

This is described as small but is actually quite large. The light is bright and cold (daylight ?) The instructions could be better. I found it difficult to access the bulb cage to insert a bulb and eventually had to use plyers to open the lid at the top of the cage, which is far from obvious and very stiff. The handle grips which are used to open the jaws to clamp the light on to a support are VERY difficult to compress. I am no weakling but it took all my strength, with both hands, to open the jaws and hold them open long enough to clamp it on. Once these issues are overcome the light is certainly effective and I don't regret buying it.

Really good spread of bright light. Not too bright to hurt your eyes.

I needed some temporary lighting in my kitchen (due to a delay in the electrician coming to fix the fluorescent). This inspection lamp fitted the bill perfectly. It's very bright and a solid build. Has a nice strong clamp and a long cable. Well worth the money.Was also impressed with Prime same day delivery.

first impression on opening the box ......2 things of note: to fit the bulb I tried to open the hinged top guard, had to put in my vice to compress the cage to open... then I noticed the small screw locking the large thread of the cage mount to remove the cage. n.b. no instructions in/on box regarding bulb fit.to open the gripper I needed both hands, I have long Fingers but the distance between the handles is very wide and the spring is excessively strong for its purpose.

Does what i expected it to do. Good build quality.
