Far better than anything else I have tried
I have a number of vintage cars from the early 1950's and one, a 1952 Arnolt MG has all original glass. With only 63 Coupes built sourcing new glass is impossible while having the glass custom made in extremely expensive. The car recently completed a concours level restoration and the glass, especially the windshield greatly detracted from the appearance. I considered having a windshield made but removing the old one is not an easy task due to the archaic way in which it is mounted requiring the headliner to be removed and stainless steel trim. I tried to polish the glass using a number of glass polishes include that from Griot's garage which received great reviews. After using an entire bottle of glass polish the only effect was that it removed the haziness but had little impact on the fine scratches and shallow chips. It took well over an hour to do so. I just tested the 3M product on a small section of the windshield and after 10 minutes it looks virtually new. All of the fine scratches are gone and the polishing even removed most of the deep scratches along the trim which where caused by wet sanding the aluminum trim. I am sure after a second pass they too will be gone.A word of caution, this is a product for "professionals" hence no instructions which s the case for all 3M's line of professional polishes. (By the way, their line of "perfect-it" products for paint surfaces are outstanding.). When polishing glass it is important to keep the surface wet using a spray bottle with water to mist the surface or the polishing pad. If you use a high torque buffing wheel and do not do this, the heat generated can crack the glass. WIth this product there is no need for a high torque wheel as a standard dual action buffer wit the right pad works fine but will take a bit more time.

Restored 20yr old boat windshield
Used on a windshield for a boat that is 20yrs old and was parked in the sun on salt water the entire time. Glass was micro pitted and looked like it had permanent water stains but it was etched from the years of elements and could not be cleaned. Glass was clear and not yellowed and was still good enough to see through for day time driving, but night was an issue. Tested in a small area to make sure there wouldn't be any strange hazing or light diffusion and it looked perfect. So I polished the entire glass and results were amazing, but not perfect. I did another pass and took more time and now the surface looks nearly perfect. Surface is almost like new. Only problem now is I can clearly see all the staining on the inside of the windshield which is not easy to get to with a polisher. So I'll be testing that by hand next hoping for perfect glass on both sides.

Not worth the money
Mine was delivered damaged. From whatever I could salvage it worked out some very light scratches but very slowly. I then switched to a cerium oxide powder, mixed my own slurry and removed all of the scathes much faster. For the price they're selling it for you could buy a ton of cerium oxide and pads and still have some money left, IMO.

Big RIP OFF
I've tried to remove light scratches from my glass shower door with this product by using a top of the line polisher. After 6 trys totaling almost 2 hours of polishing with a lot of my elbow grease, it did not even remove one scratch. As a matter fact, it did not even put a dent on the scratches. THIS STUFF SIMPLY DOES NOT WORK !!! Big RIP-OFF!!!

Works fantastic!
I was a bit skeptical if this product was going to work for me at first. I had scratches from my windshield wipers that have been there for years, and I just couldn’t seem to get rid of them. I was about to accept that replacing the windshield was my only option, but wanted to give his glass polish a chance since I would prefer keeping my windshield original. From reading the reviews, I knew that I had to prepare myself for about 2-4 hours of polishing to get results. It was time consuming, but I am very happy with the outcome! I still have a little work to do, but it cleared things up amazingly!

Skeptics, read this
The product does what it says, it just takes a LOT of time like everyone's been saying.Set aside at 4 hours of time if you want to do a very good job, that's my experience at least, to each their own. Some instructions since this doesn't come with any or any on the internet for that matter.1. Clean the windshield thoroughly, simple water and towel will do.2. Shake bottle we'll before use3. Add little doleps of product onto the glass (depending on application use discretion) should be roughly the size of a quarter mostly4. Add a nice coat of water, enough to the point where the water itself becomes a "layer like glass"(Reason for this is I have found that when using smaller amounts of water it would 'burn' up and become ineffective, whilst using smaller amounts of water proved to be just messy)The water helps be a lubricant and is the "heating agent" like polishing a car, glass doesn't keep heat well and so keeping a consistent "rubbing agent" to help the rotary spinning and well heated is necessary.5. Keep applying the same kind of "layering" technique with the water going over the same spot(s) and adding more polish as needed6. After multiple passes (10-15) wipe the surface with water and a rag and see if the outcome is what you desire7. If not repeat past steps 3-6 until you get the desired outcome
