You get a lot of fresh Nutritional Yeast for the money. Great flavor. Large flakes, not beat up like some brands. WFPB Rocks! UPDATED 10/10/24 - Just re-ordered! This stuff is great for all around WFPB cooking. I keep some in a table shaker to top foods for last minute additional nutrition and flavor. Sure beats keeping up with B vitamin supplements daily, too. Great flavors, consisten high quality product, and a daily staple in my Whole Food Plant Based lifestyle. Utilizing this versus the liquid B vitamins is a no brainer! Simple and easy to use AND it makes foods taste so much better! Win/Win! I keep the main bag, sealed, in the freezer. Refill my old table top Braggs nutritional yeast dispensor topped off and in the fridge for ready use. That keeps it all fresh! 2 lb bag lasts me between 9 months and a year. It's just me eating it. Been ordering this off and on for a couple years now. Very good every time. I also use this with my ducks. Yeah it’s more expensive than brewers yeast, but when a baby duck is down and you need a reliable product, use this instead! It tastes better than brewers and it has a higher quantity of thiamine AND is calculated for you. Where some brewers is not. The longer a duckling is down, the longer it takes to get it back up. I also love to give it to my adult ducks too. But I can afford it, and it’s too dangerous to fully let them free range on property.

Very versatile. Tastes great! Add to popcorn, stews and soups. High B vitamins and contains protein. Also give to my chickens. Good quality as it does not use B12 synthetic which contains small amounts of cyanide. Low sodium content.

I use this as a nutritional supplement for geese. It smells good, they scarf it up, and I also like the taste. Appreciate the sealing bag as well.

I'm on a medically supervised diet and I'm not able to use cheese for things. I'm able to use cottage cheese only but I can't mix it with any other proteins. I've lost salt and sugar out of my diet as well and despite all my best efforts using a variety of other spices, it really kills variety and there are still many things that wind up tasting a bit bland. So I'm always on the hunt for things to add depth of flavor that I can have. I was really excited to mix this with cottage cheese to see if I could blend a cheese sauce for some veggies and starches. I mean, it's not perfect, but it opens so many possibilities. I felt like the price of this was also the best value compared to some others I looked at. I'm very excited to look for other ways I can use this

The scoop enclosed with product is one teaspoon in amount. The package says to use at least once per day. So how much do I use to get the full benefits...at least one teaspoon or more. This casts doubt on usage for me. I do not mind the taste as others have commented. The prior product I was using was 1.5 rounded tablespoons for full benefits...so much more in comparison to using one teaspoon of this. I could see significats results in my hair and nail growth with the other product. I used this for about two weeks and could not see the same results. So, I have increased usage to one HEAPING tablespoon (3 teaspoons make a tablespoon) and I can see improvement in nail growth. I did not like the taste of the prior product and had to blend it with a tablespoon of protein power to drink. I would never have put it on my food, I bought this for the amount and the price. It will not last as long using an increased amount daily but still makes it more affordable. I am convinced that to get the best benefits it will mean using more than the one scoop that is enclosed. I still do recommend it.

I have recently started to eat more of a vegan diet. I watch my protein intake closely to make sure I get enough. This helps me add protein. It doesn't taste like any cheese I have eaten, but it is similar to cheese. Almost like it could be another type of cheese. The best part is that I like the taste and it is easy to add to foods. I love that it is organic also and the price is very reasonable. I like that it has a scoop in the bag and it has a resealable zip lock. I will purchase again.
