“Final Bearing” Wallace and Keith
One of the best military thrillers written. The authors keep your attention and the need to keep reading to discover the end. The plots and characters are first class. Highly entertaining and leaves you begging for more. A must read series.

Carries you right along.
Some technical details off, but an excellent read. I would recommend this book for a book on the war on drugs, as unrealistic as the ending might be.

A Novel of Navy Intelligence
Fighting the Columbian drug cartel has been a longtime mission of the US Navy. This novel describes in detail the working of the Columbian producers and the results of the Navy men and women as they hunt down the drug suppliers.

Their talent shone through!
Wallace and Kieth. Final Bearing (200120) Three stories running at once, it seemed, but eventually they were coordinated to provide essential background to an interesting start to this book. At 54%, some of it has been hard going and in spite of the super action at this point, this reader is having a little trouble keeping up with all the various characters, in all three stories, which are indeed linked but splash at the continuity, especially as far as the seagoing aspect is concerned. Big difficulties, at times, sorting out which story I am in. So many characters, so many names, so many situations, eventually one gets there but it seems clear that there are different authors contributing to the tale, perhaps not quite knitting into each other’s contributions. It is still pretty riveting but tiresome waiting for it to clear itself for us 'less-in intelligent' brings! The swap from one tale , in a different but associate issue, but outside the present theme, makes for confusion in this reader. Still struggling with this 'miss match' of stories, always interesting and sometimes thrilling but often suddenly interposed into the then current theme, which, is to say-at the least, monetarily confusing. I liked the 'stories' but wish they had been more 'connected or linked immediately' into the main theme. It was, in the end, a tidy affair and I DID enjoy the read.Fred

Entertains submarine story
Submarine stories follow a set path, including this one. Apart from the crew there are heroic SEALs, DEA officer and Seattle policeman. No women bar a minor part. The story is sufficiently entertaining.
