Q: Will these fit over mx style adventure riding boots with a large shin protectors?

Maybe. The leg zippers only go part way up the shin. It is slightly adjustable for boot size with the Velcro straps. You can leave that part unzippered to give more boot room, but that does end a bit below the knee. While there are many good things about these pants, it was disappointing to discover that there are not full leg zippers. That’s a bigger problem to me. Boots have to come off to remove the pants. I probably would have passed on this purchase had I realized that feature was missing.

Q: what are the waist and inseam dimensions on a large size?

Waist is 32-34. I have a 34” belly but thinner below. These pants fit me well!!
