With the t-valve, what is the size of the outlet that connects to the toilet tank? My toilet tank has has 0.5 in hose.

The tank hose should be standard size. I disconnected the tank hose from shut off valve at wall. Put the T on the valve. Tank hose to T and then hose to bidet from the T.

Does it require bumpers to be installed? as other bidets I tried leaves the seat raised.

Did not require anything like that for me. It was easy to install and lies flat for me.

Does the bidet make the toilet seat not sit flush with the toilet?

In our case, it is thin enough that the toilet seat is still flushed with the toilet bowl.

How do o get nozzles to retract?

They don't retract. If you're referring to when they clean. The water comes down onto them to wash the nozzles off, but the nozzles themselves do not move up and down.
