Watercolor Paint Set - 50 Travel Watercolors Kit for Adults, Beginners

This is a nice travel set: good variety of colors, water brush, drawing pencil, paint pen, and a compact case. If you like to mix colors before you put them on your paper, you’ll probably need something to do that with, as there is very little room for that. I’m definitely pleased with my purchase.

So I will preface that I got this for a 1.5 year old after we visited his grandmother (an artist) and he loved painting with water colors with her. I love the water brush in this kit as it is way way easier for a little one to use. Only now, several months later, is he really getting the concept of cleaning the brush between colors. I also love the acrylic pen that comes with it. The brushes are not the best quality, but I did get this for a toddler sooo.... he would ruin any brush anyways. Like i said we have had this set for several months and its held up really well even with a toddler mixing all the colors. I would recommend this for an adult beginner and also for a kid who maybe is more artistically inclined than the standard "kids set". he loves the different colors and that there is "light" and "dark" versions of the same color. I even framed one of his creations for his grandmother for Christmas! oh, the paper is also pretty nice, was better quality than the pad I got from target to go along with this.

These are not bad. They do not smear and are very vibrant. The iridescent colors, and there are 10 of them, are nice and shiny and will add nice embellishment to your finished work. Comes with everything you need. There's 10 pages of 160 lb watercolor paper, a pencil, a black acrylic marker, 3 different sized paint brushes, plus a water brush and a kneaded eraser. Not to mention there are 50 colors. The case is metal, but I plan on keeping it in the colorful box it comes in since the paper fits perfectly at the bottom. Not professional grade, they're good enough for me.

The paint itself is a nice consistency and there is nice array of colors, but the brushes were flimsy and frayed. We found only one of the three really usable. The water pen/brush worked well. The black marker works well with the watercolors, but it's pretty tricky to get working. The instructions on the marker are nearly illegible. In one of the kits we ordered the marker did not work at all. The pencil is nice, but sure to sharpen before you travel! The paper is quality and the perfect weight, but I think there should be at least 20 sheets for the price. The kneaded eraser stuck to the packaging our hands so it was discarded. The packaging is fun, but you essentially need to keep it in the original box to actually keep it all contained.

I was looking around on “Prime Day” when I saw a video for this watercolor set. The first thing that caught my eye was the colorful bag and metal box. I loved them both. After watching the video about 10 times, I hit BUY NOW. I’m so glad I did!! I got it yesterday. I like it so much that I just ordered another one. Did I mention that I LOVE the metal box. It's so fun and colorful This set includes a LOT of stuff for the price. All tucked neatly into the pretty box. Yes, the paint pans are small, but there are 50 of them. I see other reviews that say the brushes aren’t great. I have brushes…I don't really need these, but I will use them for other stuff. Everything else in this set is a bonus. I am very happy with this. I would recommend it to anyone.

Great travel, urban/rural watercolor set. I take it on the go. I use it for on site quick design mock up as well. There are a generous number of watercolor cakes, Aquabrush, assorted other brushes, pallet and sponge included. The metal tin keeps it in place and has room for some extra supplies. I’ve found another vendor that sells individual watercolor cakes that fit the tray holes to replace cakes I use them up. Having all in one box along with Strathmore watercolor Artist Trading Cards and some slightly larger watercolor cards that I keep in there too is very handy.

I purchased this watercolor kit as a Christmas gift for my 9yo daughter. She LOVES IT!! It is so cool I plan to buy myself one. The colors are great! The thing she loves the most is the water brush pen. She loves how easy it is to paint with it without having to have a cup of water around to wash the brush. It self cleans. She has been painting with this kit everyday since receiving it. That is a home run if I do say so myself! 😂

The colors are so vibrant & saturated. Cute metal case, brushes are decent & paper nice. Great for traveling altho there really isn't a mixing well.

Amazing colours lovely packaging

Lovely packaging, great quality & price.

The item arrived before the predicted time, so thank you Amazon! The paint set is terrific, with the additional tools needed by a beginning painter. The colours are vibrant and lots of variety. I’m very pleased- it’s what I needed

A mi hijo le encantó, se lo compre para cuando salimos a algún bar o restaurante y no puede estar correteando se entretenga. Es un tamaño muy bueno para llevar así que genial. Cada vez que tenemos que esperar en alguna parte se pone a pintar.
