I’ve bought and used this hair a few times now. If you are used to curly crochet hair then you know the ups and downs of it. I wear this hair for 4-6 weeks before I take it out and I think it looks more natural the longer you wear it. Yes, it is initially soft, silky and a little shiny when you first take it out the pack. Mine has never had an odor. It will likely tangle if you are trying to split the hair during install. This hair will tangle as you wear it and cause you to have to occasionally break out the scissors (cut don't pull the tangles!) but its not excessive tangling unless you are mud wrestling every night.If you are looking for a no maintenance hair, this isn’t the one for you! But I would say its low maintenance considering you can wear this hair for a month with it still looking nice. This is one of my fav crochet styles that is quick and easy to install, at an affordable price!I use 4-5 packs of hair. First 2 pics are Day 1 and 3rd pic is after 4 weeksTip: I don’t split the hair during install. After install, I tease the crochet hair (nearest the scalp) where I have my visible part to look more textured/natural

I’m really loving this hair. It is synthetic and does feel a little like Barbie hair but is soft. The hair did not tangle while being installed. The hair is very light and not heavy. Three packs were used so I still have some left over that i definitely will be using again. The hair does tangle after day 2 and does require some maintenance. I find that using water mixed with glycerin in a spray bottle is best. No foam or mousse. Just getting it wet but not soaking wet and slowly separating the curls in groups and smoothing them out. I did have to cut the ends just a little and I cut a few knots but the hair has not shed and if I take my time the little knots undo themselves. Afterwards I twist it in a bun on top of my head and hold it in place with a small clip and cover with scarf and bonnet. I have to do this process maybe every two days but to me it responds well. I’ve had this hair style for a week and I really like it. I don’t know how long the hair will last and I’ll probably have it in for three weeks. I love the color. I got the 22 inch and the hair is puffy but not crazy looking. I’m happy with my purchase and will be trying different colors.

The hair is soft and beautiful but tangles easily. I stopped fixing bcos it was difficult to manage even during installation and had already tangled.Buy a shorter length instead of 20 to 24 inches.

Soft and silky. Holds up great. It tangles a little bit. But can be managed well. A great buy. I will buy again.

Very cute. Hair looks good, and feels good. I hope it lasts for a decent amount of time, we will see.

I like the curl pattern but the hair was too shiny and tangles fast
