I'll be honest
I'll give the most host review of this device. I am a first responder and I use this device almost daily as my position require POV response. For the price, it is a great start, and a great device. With that said, the speakers are crap. If purchasing this device, I strongly advise upgrading the speaker to truly get the 400w output. I've pairs my controls with two whelen speakers rated at 150w a piece and all I can say is wow. Prior to doing this I was going to trash this device. Set up is actually easy, people say it's confusing, and I can see why. The funny thing is once you actually set it up, you look at the instructions that's posted in the amazon photos and you will realize the instructions are pretty straight fourth (except for the horn tap which requires a relay). Be sure that 1 all the wires are properly connected to the harness, and you wouldn't be upset. I made changes to my current setup and wired it to an aux switch for cosmetic purposes and I kept losing the remote, but hey that's on me. I'm beyond happy and satisfied with this box and at this price, it would normally get 5 stars. But the speakers are complete trash.

Has issues
Coming from a Sho-me siren, I could see why this BooYu is relatively cheap! Yes it claims 400W but in comparison to my 100W Sho-me and single 100W Abrams speaker, I can tell how not so great it sounds. The sound is just not as crisp and commanding as with the Abrams speaker.Documentation is very poor and consists of a single wiring diagram without much of explanation on for example why it wants you to cut off your horn power supply and route it through the siren control module? Will it allow you to control it through? If so, How? For lack of documentation, I didn't do it. I fact it was one of many reasons I chose not to go ahead and permanently install this siren, the main reason was the length of the provided harness which was not good for any type of permanent installation with the longest cables were 3ft long! The power harness was 2ft long! This would require a lot of splicing which I didn't have time for beside it's not a great way to do things. The other reason which in my opinion was what broke the camel's back, the siren tends to go in a state of confusion when you press the remote buttons too fast or in an order it can't handle! This makes it produce mixed tones somewhat cartoonish... Not so great for an emergency alert system!Another annoying aspect is whenever the remote is powered on or off, the speakers would beep! Why would they do that is beyond me!Speaking of the remote, it's a plug in type, it has no internal battery, it has to be plugged in to run, plus it uses the outdated not micro but mini USB plug. However the remote does seem to have a good range. The package graciously includes a USB type A that plugs in the cigarette lighter and a cable to power it up, the adapter is so horrendous, I immediately trashed it.Figuring out what the remote does is a challenge, since each button can produce more than one tone dependent on the combination of buttons pressed. There is no documentation on what it supposed to do, and it's on the user to figure it out and memorize it.2.5 stars

Meh!
You get what you pay for is the old adage! No mounting bracket for the amp, this should be fun. Poor diagram and instructions, needed to put my distant background to work in electrical engineering to read schematic. Not impressed, you shouldn’t be either!

Decent for price
I got this to install in my boat. If you own a boat, you know there’s some people out there on the lakes that shouldn’t be, so I figured I’d have it to mess with people a bit.Not as loud as I hoped, but will get the job done good enough to make other boaters doing dumb things think twice.

It's not loud
You can not hear it if you are in a car in front of it. And you can't control the volume
