Best deodorant natural or chemical I have ever used. I used to used antiperspirant but honestly would still sweat and smell. Start using deodorant and trying to find one that would deoderize was a challenge. I tried Schmidt's, the only one that seemed to kinda work was the charcoal one but the baking soda in it was irritating, I tried the Crystal one but as soon as you sweat you start to smell. I tried Tom's of Maine Prebiotic which I thought at the time was pretty awesome but would still end up smelly if I was sweating a lot. I started to have a hard time finding TOMs so I decided to research some new deodorants and Hume was the one I picked. I went with Amber Woods because I thought the other scent might be too flowery or too manly for my taste. Amber Woods is pretty heavy on the woodsy scent (cedarwood), but luckily it starts strong and dissipates fairly quickly. But honestly I don't even care about the smell of the deoderant because the one thing I noticed is I don't smell. The really test was being out at the zoo yesterday and the forecast was for cooler weather so I dressed appropriately, and lo and behold it was much warmer and sunny than it was supposed to be. I was sweating And now I am sitting here 24 hours later and there is still no noticeable odor!You do have to put it on after wash for the best results.

I purchased this because my husband and I have been trying to get away from the aluminum-laden antiperspirant formulas of the products we have used all of our lives. This particular scent seems a little more "masculine" than what I was used to but I really like it over all. It isn't a strong overpowering scent so I don't mind wearing it. Also, even though it is really a deodorant rather than a antiperspirant it seems to help stop the sweating also. AND, a huge plus for me, I don't break out or react adversely in any way to this formula and a lot of the "regular" antiperspirants would break me out off and on. It seems to last forever as well so it is a good bargain for the money in my book.

I am a huge fan of this product and I’ve been using it for a couple of years now. However, the most recent shipment started really irritating, my armpits, which has never happened previously I find this very concerning. Did they change the formula, did I get a bad batch? I really don’t know. I am very concerned though and bummed out as this is the cleanest healthiest least toxic deodorant I have found as far as ingredient list and I’ve really enjoyed using it previously hopefully I just got a bad batch and my next shipment will be good cause otherwise This thing has fallen off a cliff.

I was so excited to try this one. Incredibly disappointing. I was astounded at how quickly it failed and I wasn't even really perspiring!! I tried it repeatedly, because I was so reluctant to just toss it. Worth knowing, I have no issues that would cause me to require more than basic deodorant. It provided almost zero protection every.single.time. Thankfully, I discovered this at home as opposed to out in public! I know it's an appealing product in theory, but seriously, don't waste your money.

Natural Deodorants vary for each person's body, so there are some people this brand will work for and some it may not. For me this works! I am a person that sweats a lot, in general. However this stood up to the 80% humidity of an East Coast summer so I am a fan! I've only had it for a week, and have been using natural deodorant for years. It has a very strong scent, it is a natural but strong musk scent which is probably the amber in it, this may not be for everyone but I like it and it works well for me. I always have to reapply deodorant but this one I have had to reapply less than any others I used before. It is CLEAR!! Not like some that say they are clear and then appear white when you start sweating. If anything changes, I will be sure to update, if possible!UPDATE: like some folks here, I experienced an itchy rash and had to heal from some hyperpigmentation due to it. I was so disappointed because this deodorant really works. Not sure what ingredient is in there that does not play well with sensitive skin but I wanted to share that because unfortunately I had to switch to a magnesium based one instead. Maybe those with less sensitive skin might fare well.

The media could not be loaded. As a natural deodorant user for 25 years, I can tell you this is probably the best if not, one of the best I have ever used. Great scents nothing overpowering. Works effectively. I am happy with all of the ingredients used. give it a try you won’t be sorry.

I purchased this because a friend suggested the brand. I have used many natural deodorants over the years and have yet to find "the one", so I had high hopes that this might be it! I unfortunately didn't pay close enough attention to the ingredients. Had I seen that it contained "Fragrance (Parfum)" I would have avoided it, as that generally means they threw in artificial fragrances to make it a certain scent. And "Amber Woods" should have given that away as well. My bad....Anyway, I got the item and eagerly opened it to give it a try, only to have the smell be an immediate deal breaker. It was VERY perfumey. It is a pretty strong cedar/woodsy smell. I generally like that kind of scent, but this one was overpowering. I opened it to smell it and got a little on my finger that I wiped on my arm. I kept smelling the scent throughout the next hour or so and it was not pleasant. I had to wash my arm off to stop from having to smell it.I cannot say anything for how the deodorant works, because I couldn't bring myself to use it. I will say that it looked like a good amount of product for the money! And it looked like it would go on easy and cleanly. But, for a company/product that is trying to be "natural", they really need to rethink their scent choices.And best part is.... I took off the plastic ring when I opened it and smelled it, so I can't even return it. smh.... I am now trying to get the friend who recommended it to take it off my hands, I guess...
