cobee Wooden Fountain Pens - Handcrafted Vintage Luxury Pen, 0.5mm Fine Point, Smooth Writing for Journaling & Calligraphy, Gift Supplies

For the price I didn’t expect the nib to be so smooth, but it is! The pen body is very comfortable. I filled with Monteverde Olivine and the ink flow is lovely. I have several fountain pens and this is one that I would recommend to a beginner who doesn’t want to spend too much money. The writing experience overall is about as good as a Lamy.

For $5.38 this pen is perfectly acceptable. It writes without skipping or puddling. I like the green wooden barrel, which is why (besides the price) I purchased it. What I don't like is that the cap screws on, which means you are holding onto the screw threads when you write with it. This gives it a rather unpleasant feeling to hold. The nib also drags on the paper, which with my severe thumb arthritis becomes painfully uncomfortable after a few minutes of writing. I was thinking of purchasing several colors of this pen to hold different color inks, but I have decided against that. Edited to add: I decided to give this pen a second chance. Since it was so cheap, I took some 2,000 grit sand paper with a drop of pad-lock oil and tried to smooth the nib a bit. It actually worked! The pen writes much more smoothly now. Encouraged by this success I purchased a second one, in red. It was a much better writing experience from the very start, no sanding required. AND the red one was under $4.00. At such a cheap price, these pens are pretty remarkable. I'm very happy with my purchases now. Only one complaint left: I wish they had a clip to keep them from rolling off my desk!

I purchased this pen to keep at my work desk. I would say it works very good flow is smooth, point is nice between medium and fine, not dried out at all always writes. If you considering to keep pen in shirts’s pocket then make sure that pen does not come with pin for holding it.

Great pen for a great price. It was a gift and the recipient loves it and uses it daily. The wood is smooth and has a nice hand feel and grip

Uneven ink flow, leaks and I had to press very hard to write. The cap doesn’t have a clip so it rolls on a desk. In this price range, a disposable fountain pen is much more enjoyable pen.

Cobee 0.5mm Fountain Pen For a $5 pen, this Cobee fountain pen is a decent value and it's nice that it includes a converter. It feels good in the hand and writes smoothly. However, the nib is not a true fine. I found it writes a line that is much thicker than a typical fine nib, especially compared to Japanese brands. There are also a couple of design issues to be aware of. The pen's body is completely round, so it can easily roll off your desk if you're not careful. Also, the cap doesn't fit well on the back of the pen, and if you try to force it, it can scratch the body. If I had to choose a pen in this same price range, I would highly recommend the Platinum Preppy instead. The Preppy offers a more reliable and true-to-size fine nib experience. This Cobee pen is a fun and affordable option, but for serious writing, there are better choices out there for the money.

Very smooth, nib does not dry out quickly & beautiful pen.

Thanks to its elegant design and natural wood finish, the cobee® Wooden Fountain Pen initially felt like a luxurious writing tool. The craftsmanship is visually appealing, and the fine 0.5mm nib promised precision and style. However, my experience was unfortunately disappointing. Despite trying multiple refill cartridges, the pen struggled to write consistently and eventually stopped working altogether. The ink flow was unreliable, and it never quite delivered the smooth writing experience described. I followed the instructions carefully, but the compatibility with the cartridges seemed off, and troubleshooting didn’t help. It’s a beautiful pen to look at, but if you’re seeking reliable performance, especially for journaling or calligraphy, this one may fall short. I hope future versions improve the ink system to match the quality of the design.

Easy to use, easy to refill and writes beautifully. The colour of the wood is eye catching. If buying, be aware that when the pen is in use, the cap doesn't attach to the end and is very rounded so can roll easily - buy a pencil case!

Materiale di ottima qualità. Scrittura molto fluida e piacevole. La ricomprerei

Produit très étonnant pour le prix, je suis vraiment surpris : bien fini, bon débit, qualitatif, impressionnant pour ce prix

The pen is exactly the same as in the photo. It came in the exact color. The pen is a bit weighted in comparison with other pencils. It works perfectly and writing is very simple.

I bought four. Great value. Nice smooth writers. Beautifully made. The bodies are wooden They are absolute works of of art
