After a rear-ender car accident totaled my vehicle, my insurance provided me with a BMW 2 Series for the rental. A few days before the car was due to be returned, I scratched the bumper and quarter panel. I used this paint - four coats - to cover up a 9-inch scratch and 3-inch scratch.I followed instructions and used several coats of the touch-up paint. It took a few hours (drying time, etc) and the scratches were basically filled in -- not perfect -- but it was enough to fool the people at Enterprise Rental Car!

I mean, it’s obviously it won’t be perfect. But for the price I’d say it’s worth it. This is the cheaper way out- but if you’re tight on money and looking for a quick fix, this is the way to go. I can’t tell from far away that there is touch up paint at all.The pen isn’t the best but it works if you push it down hard enough.

I am restoring a golf cart and had a few chips on the new frame I installed and the needle part of this worked great at filling those in very nicely, you almost can’t tell where the chip was. I also used the brush part for sealing holes that I had to drill through some metal accessories brackets.

Originally I did not purchase this touch up paint pen to touch up my car. I actually got it to touch up my damaged mailbox, as well as other scratched surfaces like my expensive black door handles. Well, the pen did the job and I’m very pleased. I got this one because it gave me an option to do pin point, or brush on touch-up work. Basically you get a 2 in 1 paint repair pen… Very nice. I would highly recommend this for many jobs that are also outside the scope of just automobile paint scratches. Two Thumbs up.

the pen dispenser does not work

Seems like good paint, but not enough of it, and brush needs more bristles--runs out of paint too soon.

I had lots of very small chips in the front of my hood. The applicator allowed me to just press and fill the small areas. Very worth it!
