I have three dogs - two terrier mixes and one small hound mix who has a bark resembling that of a full-grown male fur seal. One of the terriers is very protective of "his" property and is very barky when any cats or other dogs get within eyeshot of his turf. The hound is extremely barky and unfortunately has a bark which almost echoes throughout our neighborhood. So, I straddle the gulf which most dog owners do, I suppose - we want them to bark when anything/anyone gets their attentions, but not incessantly.A visiting friend suggested this product to me. I had never heard of such a thing as this spray! I couldn't imagine how it works, but I knew what a challenge one of her dogs had been so I ordered the double pack. I pictured myself having to spray over and over again to get their attentions. I wasn't sure how they would hear the spray when they are out in the yard and I am standing in the back patio door, but I was willing to try anything.Soon after the cans arrived, all three were out barking at a cat going up the hill way in back of us. I stood on the back porch and gingerly hit the button on the can. Wonder of wonders...not only did the barking stop, but all three came bounding back into the house! That result has been my experience since I started using this spray! One quick spray and whatever they are doing stops. I am AMAZED!!!Not only do I no longer have to run out to corral the three back into the house when the barking gets out of hand, but they aren't afraid of the spray noise. They aren't traumatized by the spray; rather they just seem to know it indicates that it's time to stop what they are doing! Unreal! I don't know this works, but it DOES WORK!I am glad I bought the 2-can pack. I keep one can in the living room for when the barking gets out of hand as they see something interesting out of the huge picture window and the other can I keep by the back door. The result is that our household is much calmer. I no longer have to run out into the yard, hollering for them to get inside and they do get to bark some until the "pfffffft" lets them know it's time to stop.I can only imagine how the creator of this project stumbled onto this solution for curbing annoying pet behavior. All I can say is that it works...it really REALLY works!

I have a rough collie 10-month-old male. These dogs are known for barking. My last collie actually barked more when I tried to correct him. Within 2 days he was a new dog. His first few barking episodes and jumping at other people and dogs I gave him a spray in front of him. The next couple of training sprays went off to the side to catch his attention. The citrus smell lingered for a bit, but it wasn't obnoxious to the dog or me. My dog now roams are fenced in yard being quiet without bothering our neighbors. I gave the cost one star because it's costly for a can of compressed air with citrus smell.

I used it to stop my dog from pulling on the leash. I would hide it behind my back and it really helped anytime she would start to pull. Also used it to keep her from jumping over the gate. Only wished it would last a little longer.

I'm a humane trainer but this dog was beyond my training tools. This spray is humane but interrupts dangerous behaviors that my standard tools couldn't address. Extreme biting, jumping, etc respond instantly without hurting the dog and without me getting hurt. Thank you!

I thought I would save money-I do not like this product as much as the leading product

My dog drags her claws through the grass after each time she goes potty, rutting up the grass and dragging the muddy clumps in the house. So I had to watch her go each time and wait for the moment to use it but she has definately caught on that I will use it if she does it. Problem solved!

I ordered this because I have a new dog that barks at anything and everything. It's very annoying. But I ordered this product and it works! It just for some reason stops the dog and it's tracks and sort of does like a "reset button" on them. They seem to forget whatever it was they were barking at or anything that had just happened.
