Low Cost Novelty Accessory Lighting
This lights up behind the license plate, so keep that in mind!This item isn’t really meant to turn heads, but it will make onlookers say, “hmmm...how did they put light back there?” or maybe “well that’s dumb, you can’t see the license plate” and then that’s it.This just happened to light up the area beneath my steel front bumper on a vintage truck. It’s subtle but noticeable, and it doesn’t draw too much attention given the height of my truck and the brightness of my LED headlights. Overall, it’s a decent novelty lighting item that may or may not last, and at this price point that is practically implied. You can’t buy wine on a beer budget, so don’t expect jaw-dropping ambient light from this NOVELTY license plate lighting and you’ll be golden if this item is your “cup of tea” so to speak.Summer is around corner and temps reach far beyond 110°F in Southern Nevada. I’ll be sure to post an update if I find this acrylic plate fused between my steel bumper and license plate.

Incredibly poor soldering, fell apart on first trip to work. Hard to install; too thick.
This is a great idea, and looked very nice when first installed. However, it's so thick, you're going to need 1" screws rather than the standard 3/4" to attach your plate to your car, which makes for a difficult install. If you only use 2 screws, the bottom separates from the car and plate, so you're going to need 4 screws. Worst of all: the wire comes in through a gel-like clear rubber and is VERY POORLY soldered to the circuit board. After my first trip to work, the light stopped working, and upon inspection both the + and - wires had separated at the solder point in the clear rubber. I had to take it off my car, re-solder it, reinforce the solder with a boot, apply some heat-shrink insulating tubing to the wire, tape that to the rubber backing as a strain relief with a little slack so it doesn't come apart again. Seriously, for the price, it had better be a solid connection at the solder point, or some strain-relief.

Looks great lit up!
Great product only gripe i have is the thin wires i installed it on the front of my car but when i went to the car wash the pressure washer pulled the wire out of the base & the way it's designed you can't easily reattach the wires the acrylic is to flush but that's not their fault it was mine for not anchoring down the wire better other than that awesome product looks great I just ordered a new one to replace it this time I will be passing it down better

Super bright and looks amazing. Will have to trim down your license plate a little though in order for your plate to be visible.

Returned. Felt durable
It was never installed. I couldn’t figure it out. I also tried looking up installation videos. No go so I returned this item. Also, my 2019 Ford Fusion has a bright light that already lights up the license plate so I’m not sure how it would’ve looked anyways.The quality did seem durable.

Neat product
Well, it’s easy to wire, and does just what it should. What’s to complain about? :) Photo is of the plate mounted behind my license late on a C5 Corvette (black)
