She’s never met this new guy before but instantly feels a connection to him, and he looks like he’s come to the bar to drown his sorrows too. What harm would one night together be? No names, just one night…even if they both want more.I wasn’t sure what was going to happen in this prequel after reading the blurb for Pucking around before seeing this. However, I thought this was a great way to be introduced to Rachel who is the FMC. This was short, spicy and just a great start to a new series. Jake was so bubbly and cute in this and he just embodied the golden retriever vibes. I thought this was going to be a why choose novella seeing as its linked to picking around but it was MF which actually makes me excited to see how things change in the main book.

I saw this recommended everywhere!!! And I've been on my ice hockey trope for a minute so dived right in !! I already love Jake and rachel!

A perfect intro to pucking around. I love the ,ain characters already and am so invested in their love. The insta-love worked really well in this!

Perfect introduction to the main stroyline. We get a little background and some spice. I can't wait to read the rest.

I loved how they vowed for one night with nothing to go by like names just scorching hot chemistry!I am definitely running to read Pucking Around now I read this so quickly as it was only 70 pages! I couldn’t put it down.
