Avatar: The Last Airbender - Smoke and Shadow Part 1

First off I don't need to say anything about packaging. As always amazon delivers it fast, safe and well protected. 2 things. First one is the artwork which is beautiful with nice zoom and frames. The story is potential and well written. However, I was expecting something maybe a little more serious and the fact that Aang and his crew were't shown enough. Overall it is a worthy avatar sequel.

I got it for m brother as a Christmas present as him and I love the show. I will most likely buy more books from the series

Great comic yet again. Can't wait for part 2

The long awaited return of Mae, and a story dealing with the political fallout in the Fire Nation from the end of the war, which is a thread that's been hanging for some time. A good start.

Avatar – The Last Airbender: Shadow & Smoke (Part One) is captivating, with good pacing and a natural dialogue style that complements the art. The art is lovely to look at and it is clear that much attention is paid to the tiniest details. One of the good aspects of this graphic novel is its bright colour combination. It is lovely to look at and contributes greatly to the story. If there is a downside to this graphic novel, it is that the fighting sequence is not done well and could be far better. Avatar – The Last Airbender: Shadow & Smoke (Part One) is a great addition to the franchise. Fans will love it.

Das Artwork ist wie immer sehr gut, und die Story fing ich sogar etwas besser als in den vorherigen Reihen! Ich kann es kaum erwarten das zweite Buch zu lesen!

If you like the world of cartoons, you will love this book.

I really love this and I can't wait for the next two books. I'm a really big fan of Avatar and this book lives up to the Avatar name. The plotline is great, and I like how it focused on the Fire Nation more and less on the other main characters (Aang, Toph, Katara, Sokka, etc.). But I'm also happy that in the next book, Team Avatar will be back. I would also like to mention the artwork. The art is amazing and I absolutely adore it. Gurihiru is amazing! I hope the next books get even better! Definitely a five star book that I would recommend to anyone that is a fan of Avatar!

Trilogia fumettistica spettacolare, ma in fondo non c'era da aspettarsi nient'altro da un prodotto derivato e che continua direttamente una serie perfetta come quella di Avatar: La Leggenda di Aang. E' un peccato che non sia stata animata, ma sono grata comunque che quella che dovrebbe essere stata la quarta stagione sia stata comunque rilasciata a noi fan. I disegni sono molto belli e, anche se leggermente differenti nello stile, catturano l'essenza dei personaggi iconici a cui ci siamo affezionati guardando, da grandi e piccoli, Avatar.

just like all the others that came before it, smoke and shadows part one, two and three are out standing comic books that should be and need to be read if your a avatar and Korra fan.
