Excellent, high quality case
Appears to be anodised aluminium. Very lightweight, sturdy case with the right cutouts for the device. Only complaint is that it doesn't have the ports labelled! Absolutely brilliant if you want a black box for your black box device…

Not bad, but could be better
Overall it's a good case, but there's a couple of caveats. 1) The fan is connected to the +5V and GND pins. This means the fan is always turned on. And it's a rather noisy fan! Believe me, it will drive you crazy. The good news is, Orange Pi 5 Plus has a PWM-controlled fan connector. So I took a cable with a female JST connector, soldered 2 pins to the cable and connected the fan to the pins (see the photo). With this upgrade the fan will only turn on when the SoC reaches something around 55 °C. It takes 3 big cores loaded at 100% to cause the fan to kick in. 2) When disassembled, the base bends slightly inwards. Sometimes this makes it hard to align the screws with the holes. 3) Never tested it, but it looks like it is not possible to use the case with a MIPI camera connected. I might be wrong, but pay attention to it if you're going to use the case for a board with a camera connected.

1022 – Case GeeekPi per computer Orange Pi 5 Plus. Custodia in metallo con ventola di raffreddamento da 40 mm, pre-assemblata. Con 4 dissipatori di calore in alluminio per Orange Pi 5 Plus 4GB/8GB/16GB. Grazie al Programma Vine di Amazon posso testare il case GeeekPi metallico. Arriva in una scatola di cartoncino di colore nero. All’interno, si trovano il case protetto da un sacchetto di plastica con all’interno i vari accessori e un bigliettino da visita con le indicazioni per il montaggio. Gli accessori in dotazione, sono: - 4 micro alette di raffreddamento in alluminio con adesivo termoconduttore - Piccolo giravite con testa a croce - Viti per il fissaggio della Mobo - Gommini antigraffio di silicone Il case è di metallo verniciato, senza sbavature o spigoli vivi. E’ ben serrato da 8 viti metalliche a testa cieca. Il giravite è utile, ma di scarsa qualità. Le alette sono della misura esatta per essere incollate sopra i chip della Mobo. La ventolina di raffreddamento è preinstallata. Al momento non ho a disposizione la Orange GeekPi + ma credo che ne acquisterò una breve. IL BUONO - Realizzato con precisione - Senza sbavature o spigoli vivi - Ha tutte le aperture a misura delle porte - GPIO Connection Port - Prezzo molto buono IL MENO BUONO - Nulla da segnalare CONCLUSIONI La custodia GeekPi per mobo Orange Pi 5+ ha tutto il necessario, è realizzata con molta cura e costa poco. Da consigliare. Spero di essere stato UTILE.

Simple, easy, recommend
Just got it, there's not much to say. 2 bits of metal held with screws. Get what you see and a couple of spare screws to boot. Just what I was after. Shipped fast.

boitier protecteur et metal dur.
Le boitier est tres ben concus avec les deux parties. Les dissipateurs sont fournis et le ventilateur n'est pas tres bruyant. Facile a installer dans le boitier. C'est simple et cela fonctionne parfaitement.
