This tool is well designed and engineered. Performance is good enough for the advertised functions based on the price range.

UK Buyer, I Have been trawling the web for the past month trying to settle on a decent microscope for amateur/hobbiest SMD electronic work, having done all the youtube review stuff, I looked at Lapsun etc for a separate component solutions but found it a nightmare, couldn't work out what was on offer, also clone stuff from Aliexpress and ebay just muddied the waters. Andonstar didn't do itself any favours either for similar reasons. landed on this the TOMLOV DM201 Pro HDMI Digital Microscope,10 Inch Stand Included, 7" LCD Microscope 1200X, .Out the box it suits my needs, well laid out manual, well packaged and intuitive setup, very decent images,nice build quality etc, I like it out the box. Only minus point was it was advertised on Amazon as coming with an sd card, nope, not in the box or in the contents description. A minor point as they are cheap anyway.Really happy with purchase, happy to recommend.

When I bought this digital microscope, I was not sure what to expect, but I must say I am very pleased with theunit. It is easy to assemble, has an excellent depth of field, produces a good sharp image and can record photographs or video. It exceeded my expectations and has prooven to be very useful for examining the small components fro which it was purchased. I have noticed that the JPEG images it records can be darker than that which is seen on the screen, so some adjustment should be undertaken to suit your needs. I have no hesitation in recommending this product.

Having never used one of these before I have nothing to compare it to directly.I have watched people use more expensive items on YouTube and of course you are not going to get £1,000 quality for £100. Having said that this is a really impressive piece of kit.When you first use one it is amazing the amount of detail you can see and how large the soldering iron tip looks as it comes into view.With the ring light on the lens and the two flexi lights, all adjustable for brightness, it is easy to get the right amount of light on the piece you are working on.Optical zoom is purely through raising or lowering the lens, digital zoom introduces noise when pushed.The screen is nice and clear with good image quality and the HDMI out works perfectly.

The microscope is good for the price. The stand is a bit difficult to adjust up and down, and the focussing ring is very stiff so you have to hold the microscope firmly with one hand while trying to twist the focus ring with the other.A power supply is included but when I plugged it in it went bang. (I can use an ordinary USB charger.)Edit: I had to return the microscope as I discovered that you cannot use an external HDMI monitor at the same time as the built-in screen. As soon as you plug in the HDMI connection the microscope screen goes blank. The manufacturer confirmed that this is a limitation of this model; the more expensive 4K microscopes can drive both screens at the same time.

Bought this for my wife last Christmas, she loves it, great quality picture and simple to use.

The image and video quality are terrible. The Microscope cant focus on very small objects .Not worth its money
