This product is great if you want to do this inside your house or have low ceiling clearance. The digital counter, not surprisingly, requires the attached ball to make rotations to trigger the counts. As such, they made the ball heavier than it should be to trigger those counts. It doesn't feel like a jump rope as much as it should have. I imagine they might be able to cut the weight by 33% and would still achieve the same results.

If you have a small area these are great to use instead of a jump rope. They do take a minute to get use to using them.

Edit: I contacted the seller and their customer service was very good and they responded quickly, so I have updated my review to 4 stars. They were not able to send me a rope, but they were very helpful and explained that they have taken steps to correct the issue for future buyers. The rope-less part of the item and the handles seem decently made and I like the look of it very much and so far the counter seems accurate for me, the only thing keeping it from 5 stars is that I cannot review the "roped" configuration.Original Review:I want to love this item, but I have ordered it twice and both times I have not received the outdoor rope, this is very frustrating to me since that is the reason that I ordered this jump rope set over others that were cheaper. I like the idea of being able to use it with a rope or rope-less. Other than the missing rope it seems alright for the price.
