Lovely thickness, size and fluffyness

Purchased this in September 2018. Looks lovely but hardly used as it sheds on the sofa, cushions, clothes (pretty much anything it touches). It also leaves little clusters of wool on the floor as well from where it’s come off.Photo shows where there is piling and the fluff that comes off. We only took a closeup photo of a small area but there’s typically fluff all around.Good quality and colour is fabulous, but really regret purchasing this because it’s not cheap and we haven’t enjoyed using it at all.I contacted the sellers to ask what can be done regarding the shedding and they shared some advice on different methods. As suggested, we put it through a cold wash (with no detergent/softener), hoovering with brush attachment and lint roller, but the problem persists. We’re almost at the point of throwing it away.I purchased this following the good reviews from others. Please note that this is just my experience of using this blanket.

Lovely quality blanket throw for new sofa.

Bought this as a Christmas gift for an elderly recipient. Pleasantly surprised at the weight/thickness when it arrived. Not a flimsy blanket, very lovely. May buy another for myself. Worth noting the cream stripes read a little grey in some light.

Many many balls form in a very short time. The color is nice, but the blanket doesn't look good after a couple of weeks. Not worth the money. Buy Portuguese wool. It's not as soft but it hold up and does not form balls.

very pleased with this thick and warm wool blanket. The yellow colour is lighter than typical for an item described as mustard.
