The Ordinary Salicylic Acid 2% Anhydrous Solution, Gentle Exfoliating Serum for Blemish-Prone Skin and Uneven Texture

This with adapalene finally cleared up my awful adult acne. I've tried hundreds of products. I discovered this at age 50 and have had clear skin for 4 years now because of it. It is moisturizing. It does leave a shine. If you aren't into the greasy glass-skin look, just use a powder over it. That will give you the glazed-donut inner glow look. I have been stopped multiple times by complete strangers who have complimented my skin.

This is amazing on my skin. I mostly use around my nose. I apply my other serums, notably the TO 10% Niacinamide + 1% Zinc. That one is a game changer for me. This one too --goes on as my last step and I only apply on areas that might be problematic and specifically on my nose and in the creases of my nose. I use this once daily. I have tried so many salicylic acid products, including the other TO 2% Salicylic Acid serum....and they all kind of sting, making them unenjoyable...and quite irritating. I don't know why, but this product does not do that...maybe the squalane base cushions the effects --who knows. Salicylic acid is attracted to oil...so I think this formula just goes straight to work on my pores. It has cleared all the sebaceous filaments, both wetter and harder plugs…like just melted them away, this is made obvious because I use a “skin spatula” where its job is to remove the gunk from pores….previously there was a lot to remove daily…now, its almost all gone. Previous salicylic acid products has never done this for me. Meanwhile this serum is non stinging and non irritating. Hope it works for you too! * still using daily in my problem areas. I only use 1 drop and that’s enough for my whole face, so i try to just dab a bit on my finger instead of dripping a drop. I rub in areas I need. If you find it oily, try it as a mask. Leave it on for 10 minutes then dab w a tissue. This and the Niacinamide 10% w zinc leaves my skin looking a lot less congested. Combine w a high veg and fruit diet, less fatty meats and refined carbs/ sugar for more skin benefits.

I am being faithful about using this product twice a day! I am beginning to see some shrinkage of size of facial pores!!
