It is exactly as described; the themes gradually increase in complexity as the pages are turned. The notation is slightly modified to accomodate the two and a half octave range, but this is quite acceptable to the solo player. I play these on a tenor recorder rather than the descant recorder for which they are aimed and have no difficulty with the later works. Were there a second volume to introduce more difficult music to the more advanced player, I would readily purchase such.

Good variety of classic pieces - though they are short (so wouldn't work for a full length solo) but great to get to know some famous tunes.

Helps keep me busy in the day and exercises the old grey cells.good exercise if mobility is not your strong point. Helps to keep boredom away, takes your mind of things. Very nice gentle hobby.

Thinner book than I imagined it would be and of course there are lots of pieces that aren't known by the average player, but should be fun to play.

Abbiamo acquistato dello stesso autore spartiti per clarinetto, tromba e flauto. Stampa economica, qualità degli spartiti non un granché, anche piuttosto difficili i primi da suonare, forse servirebbe più varietà per più livelli.

Tiene una buena selección de piezas clásicas de diferentes dificultades. Se necesita tener los fundamentos de teoría musical para aprovecharlo.

Einfach genug für falsche Anfänger. Für Fortgeschrittenen ein bisschen zu undetailliert.

It is made to be easily used with a little bit of challenge for a beginner. The fun part is you can make out the song and its nice and familiar. A very relaxing outlet. Thank you!
