Just visit WildMusicPublications.com Review: Suitable for the beginner up to intermediate player - It is exactly as described; the themes gradually increase in complexity as the pages are turned. The notation is slightly modified to accomodate the two and a half octave range, but this is quite acceptable to the solo player. I play these on a tenor recorder rather than the descant recorder for which they are aimed and have no difficulty with the later works. Were there a second volume to introduce more difficult music to the more advanced player, I would readily purchase such. Review: Easy enough to play yet stretching enough for a near beginner.
