I have thick, wavy to curly hair. You will be amazed at how easy it is to have the hair go up the tube and come out stick straight.It is heavy when you are drying your hair, but not bad or a deal breaker. I can't see traveling with it easily; perhaps if you are on a road trip but not an airplane.It cuts drying time in half. Your hair is smooth and silky. It does make it stick straight, so if you like volume and some bouncy wave, it won't do that. You can use a curling iron after, but to me, the point is less heat and heat damage.There is some learning curve with this unit. It can make your ends look a bit dry. I called the company and they were extremely helpful and explained some things to do that have now greatly improved my results.I'm definitely getting the hang of it and really love it!

I was skeptical ordering at first instead of on the actual website but it really is the real thing! Works great. The box came pretty beat up so I was worried it wouldn’t turn on or work but it did . Recommend

Follow the instructions closely! Smaller sections give you a more detailed dry closer to your scalp. Also, don't expect your hair to dry quickly if your hair is soaking wet. Remove the extra moisture before drying for best results. I love the fact that I can use the tension feature to stretch out my hair according to my own specifications. It is expensive, but I feel like it's worth the cost for aiding in reduced heat damage and blowed dry hair effect.

My wife and daughter are always using this machine. It’s very strong and works like a charm. They both have curly and kinky hair. After 30 min there hair is straight and relaxed. I am happy they like it.
