Excellent product
This was the exact color needed for my Lowe Jon boat. I was worried that a quart would not be enough, but there is plenty to do the outside and inside double coated and still have some left. Very pleased, applied really nice as well

Looks good.
Works well but the paint suggests no primer so I needed 5 coats. The paints 12 hour recoat is awful so I ended up doing one coat every 24 hours due to not being able to get to it every 12 hours. The paint seems good so far we shall see how it holds up. I used primer on the steel trailer which brought coats down to 2-3. I am sure theres a reason you are not supposed to use primer for the aluminum boat but I do not know why. I also do not know why recoat is every 12 hours.

Great paint, not amazing price
Good paint, however too expensive really. 3 layers on the inside of my 16 footer looks great so far but the amount of paint couldnโt quite cover the whole thing. The surface before was real banged up so honestly came out quite good. If youโve got the cash, totally worth it.

This is a good product
This seems to be a quality product. The color is bright, and looks good after 2 years.

STAY FAR AWAY!
I spent over a weeks time prepping my 14' aluminum boat. Washed, Sanded, wire-wheeled, washed again, and then wiped with mineral spirits. Applied using a brush and a fine-nap roller. Coverage was absolutely terrible and I could still see mainly green showing through the new white paint. Following the instructions which said "recoat without sanding any time within 12 hours," I added a second coat, about an hour after the first coat had dried. The second coat didn't cover any better than the first. At this point I started to get frustrated. I allowed the paint to dry thoroughly and the next morning it was cracked and peeling off of the boat! I could easily scratch it with my fingers and the water hose would blast it right off! I read the can again and realized that this paint is water based. It's absolutely horrendous crap and I can't believe how terrible of a job it did. I have since pressure-washed all of the paint off and re-painted the boat with an epoxy paint from Pettit that worked SO much better. As I was pressure washing, I literally watched the paint delaminate from itself - the second coat didn't even adhere to the first coat. I can't believe how terrible this paint is - it's like painting a boat with watercolors. STAY FAR AWAY from this. You will waste so much time and will only end up frustrated. Buy some Pettit EZ Poxy paint instead and you will have a nice, hard finish that is totally scratch proof in one coat!

This product didn't hold up, I cannot recommend it.
I purchase this product for my aluminum bass boat rails however after prepping the areas that I applied the paint to peeled off in areas after 6 months . I don't think I will purchase this product again and will try another brand next time.

Great Paint
First my rant: There is no excuse for shipping paint in cans like this and by reading the reviews here, I'm not the only one who receive damaged cans. Do Better ! 14' x 36" bottom Jon boat painted inside and out. The paint is very good and applies easily. I prepped the boat and applied 3 coats of aluminum primer. Then applied 3 coats of the Total Boat paint. 2nd coat will be even in color. I used a roller on large areas and and a good brush in tight areas. Paint applies evenly and levels itself out very shortly after applying. One gal did the coat with a little left over. I did not cut it as it goes a long way. Color is more of a "stone" but it looks good and departs from the old Jon boat green or tan. Time will tell on durability but with 3 coats of primer and 3 coats of paint I'm expecting good results.
