Better quality than OEM part
The OEM part is mostly plastic. Solid aluminum is a substantial upgrade. It's also cheaper than the OE part. It was a bit scratched up when I got it. It was purely cosmetic damage though, probably the result of shipping.

Amazing Aftermarket Part
This thermostat and housing assembly is 100 times better than the OEM one. It's built solid, machined perfectly and it foxed the Check Engine code issue. I do recommend getting the Throttle Body Inlet Heater Pipe Hose 25192905 Fit 2011-2018 Chevy Cruze Sonic 1.8L 1.6L as well, as it WILL break off inside the old thermostat housing. I recommend this product 100%!
