Rubie's Costume Men's Star Wars Adult Chewbacca Latex Hands

Gloves are HUGE, so if you have normal to smaller hands they will be on the big side. Not sure if Amazon or somebody else shipped the gloves to me, but the first time I got them I received ONE glove. Not sure how that happened, but an exchange happened and all is good now. I was just shocked that I got one glove.

It looks exactly like the pictures do. My kids say they look like monster hands. But I think they're pretty spot on for a wookie, or someone in a wookie suit. I have pretty big hands and the fingers are still a bit long for me. My plan is to put a cotton ball or two inside, at the tip of each finger, just to fill it out a little better. Great purchase! Good quality, no complaints!

These gloves are somewhere between somewhat large and way too large, but don't look bad. Standard latex, colored brown. Same shade the whole way through, except for the nails, which are a few shades darker. Creases in the knuckles give the gloves some depth. Not bad for the price, but too big for anyone other than an actual Wookie.

I'll be able to use these with some modifications, but if you're considering a purchase you should definitely be aware that what Rubie's is shipping is not at all what's pictured in this listing.The photo currently on this page at time of writing shows gloves that look more or less like slightly rougher, slightly dirtier human hands, which is a pretty good match for Chewie in my opinion. In ANH Chewie just had Peter Mayhew's fingers (rarely seen) and in later movies had some slight makeup application, or gloves.In other words, wookiee hands can more or less be assumed to look like human hands.What I received are some sort of whacked out generic Frankenstein's monster/alien gloves that probably were originally molded in green but are now molded in brown and called "Chewbacca hands." The gloves I received have an extra knuckle on each finger and the nails are way oversized and painted a gloss black. They're still labelled with an official "Star Wars" merchandise tag but are basically ridiculous.I'm going to be cutting the fingers off of these gloves and stitching them to knit gloves for better articulation and a more reasonable size/finger length, so I can still use them. However, they are definitely not what I thought I was ordering. The other reviewer mentioned that his weren't as detailed (less paint application) and I would have been fine with that, I'd just have applied a wash myself. Instead what I got are well-painted, but utterly different gloves.I've heard a lot of bad stuff about Rubies but mostly it's about how their stuff isn't at all screen accurate. I didn't think they'd ship me a product completely different to what they had represented. Zero stars if I could.

Gloves do not looks as nice as they do in the stock photo. They have a more flat color and details of the skin is not as apparent.

I like the gloves, my wife and mother in law made me a chewbacca costume, but i needed gloves. These looked great, but have some kind of powder for your hands. I work in IT and wore this to work. I barely got the gloves off after 10 minutes of wearing them. I didn't put them back on because i had no powder and needed to use my hands and the gloves didn't allow me to work.

Just needed to add hair and they work perfectly.
