British Traveller Large Suitcase 28 Inch, Lightweight Hard Shell Luggage

I am a mechanical engineer by profession so tend to research a product drilling down into the quality of the item before I buy. First of all, I chose this because it's made from polypropylene. Polypropylene is virtually indestructible and light. Some cases are made from ABS plastics which is impact vulnerable. Polypropylene is so strong your camera battery hinge is usually made from it because you can work it back and forth and it won't break from fatigue. Because this case is so light, you can get more in and still remain within your flight weight limit. Good range of colours and has a TSA approved lock built in which you can change the combi to one of your own. Being TSA approved, they won't (usually) break the lock to get in your case in the event you pack some marzipan that scans just like plastic explosives. Good quality zips, large size ideal for 3 weeks plus trips. Four swivel wheels on the bottom and a good quality extending handle to wheel it around with. I liked it so much I purchased two more, one large and medium to replace all our luggage. Easy to traverse the whole of terminal 5 at Heathrow and makes you look like a wealthy traveller. Make sure you put your name and home address INSIDE the case. All auctioned luggage is sold because the traveller didn't do this in the event of loss. What's not to like a out British Traveller cases. Good price, exceptional quality and most important of all - lightweight. An easy recommendation for me to make. Go buy!

Good quality case. Zipper works well and it has a TSA lock, with the code easy to set up. Good amount of space and durable (used on a trip to Nigeria). The wheels are excellent thus the case is easy manoeuvre and you can easily attach your backpack to the handle. Well worth the expense IMO.

Brilliant Product. When received I was a little disappointed as I thought it looked a little less than I was expecting, but having gone on two trips with it I can 100% change my mind. What a superb sturdy and robust Travel Case this is. I would thoroughly recommend and purchase again. Why only the four stars? Because I am a very hard-to-please person and will pick holes in everything. The case is split into 2 halves. I couldn't tell you which is the top half or the bottom half. One half has a zipped cover, the other does not and thus it can be easy to open it upside down!

Very surprised how nice these suitcases are, bought a black 1 and beige 1, they look really expensive, on sale when I bought but would pay full price, combination lock, good zip, amazing inside space, pockets inside, not used yet no doubt will get knocked about at airport but I have no worries, really pleased

Great case good value for money. Very good qulity wheels are so smooth easy to push and pull they swivel round. Plenty of space in the case zips easy to move and very good safety locks. very visibible at baggage claim.

Pleased with this so far - looks good and plenty of room

I spent a really long time looking for a new case. I have a really nice one but it's far too heavy and too big for permitted luggage allowance these days - last time I used it all my clothes fell to the bottom and got creased. Unfortunately though, it seems the lighter you go, the more flimsy the case and every time I found one that I thought would be ok, I'd find a review where somebody said the wheels fell off! Eventually I came across this one - it was a little more than I wanted to spend but the fact that it used a well-known decent quality brand of zip decided me because, in the end, it doesn't matter how good the locks or the wheels are if your zips aren't up to scratch. Happily, when I finally decided to buy it there was a discount on offer so I was very pleased about that. It held more than enough clothes for a week's holiday and I'm sure it would easily cope with a fortnight's load if necessary; it moved very easily and the colour made it easy to pick out on the carousel. The zips (decent brand as i said) were excellent and all in all it wasn't too heavy to handle even fully loaded. Would thoroughly recommend this case and am very pleased I bought it.

This is a decent suitcase. Seems sturdy enough but I’d say it’s a mild hard case. Flexible plastic, could be tougher. The lock works well and the suitcase rolls nicely. Good luggage capacity. I like that it has a TSA accessible lock so no broken padlocks. Biggest issue is the zip is poorly designed. It’s very flimsy and it often gets stuck having to wiggle the suitcase about to get it unzipped.

Ho acquistato la British Traveller Valigia Rigida 76cm e mi sono trovato molto bene. È solida, capiente e fa esattamente il suo dovere. Perfetta per viaggi lunghi senza complicazioni. La prossima volta non la prendo bianca però. Consiglio: comprate una cover.
