I have set up the camera in my living room and noticed the following. The camera doesn’t record continuously The camera is turned on by motion sensor and only then recording happens While recording quality is good apparently it is designed for outdoor monitoring. Not good for setting it at the main door of a house with very short corridors

The video and photo quality is poor, as the vehicle license plates are unclear in both the video and images. It’s not working also not water proof even single day raining, Avoid purchasing this camera, as it stopped recording events after just one week of use. Additionally, it is unsuitable for rainy environments, as rainwater can seep inside, preventing it from detecting events.

These Tapo cameras work surprisingly well. I had expected a toy but I have had them now for over 2 years and they are still going strong. A while ago I had someone come on the property and I had to send evidence to the police who promptly ignored my report. I wouldn’t give the New Zealand police a one star rating. Anyhow I digress. The quality of the video footage was great when I downloaded it allowing me to identify the number plate and occupants of the vehicle easily. The claim they made of 180 days of battery life is pretty well out. Maybe if you had the settings all set on low but I get 90 days of battery life out of them though which I am satisfied with. I have the cameras situated outdoors but fairly well sheltered from the rain.

1er achat d'une caméra connectée sur batterie. C'est un modèle plus cher que les modèles filaires TP-LINK et qui nécessite le hub (h100) pour fonctionner. La distance maximale de connexion entre les 2 appareils est d'une douzaine de mètres. La durée de la batterie varie bien évidemment selon l'utilisation de la caméra. La batterie se recharge en quelques heures avec le chargeur fourni et peut être suppléée avec le kit panneau solaire A200. Facile à connecter et à utiliser. L'application TAPO est simple, intuitive et régulièrement mise à jour. J'ai plusieurs caméras TP-LINK (modèles intérieurs et extérieurs) depuis plusieurs années (1er achat en 2021) et elles fonctionnent 24/24, 7/7. Une seule a été retournée en SAV après quelques mois d'utilisation pour un problème de micro et remplacée immédiatement par AMAZON. Comme avec les autres modèles TP-LINK TAPO, la qualité du son est un peu inférieure à celle de l'image. c'est un très bon produit qui soutient la concurrence avec des modèles bien plus chers.

Un comentario respecto a otras reseñas. Este modelo sí que funciona con batería por lo que no necesita un cable de alimentación para instalarla en exteriores. La batería se puede extraer y cargar con el cargador que se incluye en la caja.
