Well, on an Amazon flavored hope and a prayer, I mounted a 98" TV (TCL 98S550G) and it works!As others have stated, this mount is extremely heavy, don't expect to mount it on the wall by yourself.As the only negative review states, yes, you do have to disassemble the mount before using (removing two screws, btw)- but it will make sense later on as you're mounting the TV.Overall, extremely satisfied, especially with promo pricing coming in at almost half of the only other 98" + mounts on Amazon that you may be considering.Mount is also extremely versatile, in being able to extend the full distance out, around 24". Swivel and tilt motions are very easy. For instance, I can tilt this massive120lb 98" TV with one finger. Very cool.

Given its heft, there's a peace of mind knowing that my TV, especially as I plan on upgrading to a larger one soon, will be safely and securely cradled by this mount.Though solid, the installation process was a challenge. The instructions left much to be desired, with illustrations that seemed more puzzling than clarifying. And with its weight, I can't imagine anyone attempting this solo. I, too, needed an extra pair of hands, and even then, it took us some time to get it positioned just right. It's definitely not a beginner's mount, but once it's up, the effort seems worth it.The mount's dynamic range was a feature I was eagerly looking forward to, and it did not disappoint. The ability to swivel, tilt, and extend my TV almost two feet from the wall allowed for optimal viewing angles no matter where I was in the room. Plus, the mount's extended reach made it perfect for those multitasking moments, like watching a show while doing dishes.In terms of compatibility, it came with an assortment of screws suitable for various TV models. My LG fit perfectly, no additional hardware runs necessary. The sturdiness of the mount, even when fully extended, truly gave me 100% confidence in its capabilities. However, while the swiveling mechanism is impressive, I did find that some of the parts could benefit from lubrication to make movements smoother.In conclusion, while this mount was a handful in terms of installation, its performance and durability once set up were top-notch. If you're willing to navigate through a slightly complex setup process, or perhaps invest in professional installation, the viewing flexibility and peace of mind this mount provides are unmatched. Would I recommend it for anyone with a sizable TV? Absolutely. Just be prepared for a bit of a workout during the installation!

I just bought an 86-inch TV and need to mount it on the wall instead of on the tv stand.I had to find a TV wall mount which was solid enough to keep the TV safe.When I opened this TV wall mount box, I thought I made the right choice.It looks solid by itself.The structure of the Double Arms Articulating Swivel makes the shelf very stable.When the installation is completed, if you need to fine-tune the horizontal angle, it still could be adjusted.It is very convenient.It may take a little time to install.But as long as you follow the instructions, there will be basically no problems.It has a certain weight, so you need someone to assist you when installing it.
