Consult your dentist before using. I ordered the set with both sizes, just in case. Use this in conjunction with the SnoreLab app to see your results. Use the SnoreLab at least twice while you await the arrival of your device. The two sizes have nothing to do with the size of your teeth or mouth. Size 1 forces your lower jaw forward a bit (1/4" maybe). Size two forces your lower jaw to protrude a bit further forward. I started with Size 1 and for three nights it made a noticeable difference in the reduction of my snoring. The devices are similar to athletic mouthguards, but are thinner with a softer material. Insert the device, turn on your SnoreLab, and hit the sack. The first time you insert the device, it feels extremely odd to have the lower jaw jutting forward. but you get more accustomed to it after the third time. In the morning, when you remove it (be sure you're standing over the sink), your jaw will feel sore and your bite will feel off; that goes away after an hour or so. After the first three nights using Size 1, I moved to Size 2. I tried that for three nights, but it was so uncomfortable and made my jaw sore for a few hours each morning after, that I went back to Size 1. I used both for 15 days. During this period I saw a reduction is snoring, but it varied by night. After the 15th day, my jaw so sore that I took a break for a few days. After three days of not using the device, my jaw continued to ache right in front of the ear lobe. I have not used the device in almost four weeks, but the jaw pain continues. It is particularly painful when I bite down on something with my back molars. As well, my bite still feels different. Although this does reduce snoring, the side effects are such that I do not think this is a viable solution to my snoring problem. As I stated at the top, consult your dentist before using.

I recently purchased the ZQuiet Anti-Snoring Mouthpiece in hopes of finding a solution to my nighttime snoring woes. Unfortunately, my experience with this product has been far from satisfactory, leaving me regretful and frustrated. The bulkiness not only interfered with my ability to close my mouth naturally but also caused excessive salivation. This meant waking up to a wet and uncomfortable mouth, which only added to the overall displeasure of using the product. Perhaps the most disappointing aspect of the ZQuiet Anti-Snoring Mouthpiece is the lack of a return policy. Once you make the purchase, there's no turning back, and you're stuck with a product that fails to live up to expectations. This lack of flexibility in returns raises questions about the company's confidence in the effectiveness of their product. While I understand that anti-snoring devices may not work for everyone, a customer-friendly return policy is crucial for those of us who are dissatisfied with the results. Unfortunately, ZQuiet falls short in this regard, leaving customers like me feeling trapped with a subpar product.

After a few weeks of using the ZQuiet, I wanted to share my experience—especially since I’ve been tracking my results with the SnoreLab app. Before using the device, my snore scores were averaging around 140, which was definitely on the high side. Once I started using the ZQuiet and learned to sleep more on my side, my numbers dropped dramatically—sometimes all the way down to zero, one, or two. That’s a huge difference, and my sleep has been so much quieter. I still snore a bit more if I roll onto my back, but that’s just my anatomy doing its thing. To really fine-tune things, I added a few other helpful tools to my routine. The Intake Breathing Nasal Dilator helped open up my airways, Flonase kept nasal passages clear, and a cool-mist humidifier kept the room air from drying me out. One of the best upgrades, though, was switching to a cervical neck pillow. It supports my head and neck in a way that keeps my airway more aligned, which works perfectly with the ZQuiet to reduce snoring even further. The combination of all these—ZQuiet, the nasal dilator, the humidifier, and especially the cervical pillow—has made a noticeable difference. With the help of the SnoreLab app, I’ve learned a lot about what really works for me. The ZQuiet isn’t a one-size-fits-all miracle, but with a bit of self-education and the right setup, it’s been a game changer for getting quieter, deeper sleep.

I will update as this goes but last night was my first night with this and a few observations. 1) it does make you salivate a lot but I suspect that will subside as it is similar to a retainer. 2) I can’t say if it helped my snoring but last night was the first time in 6-8 months that I fell asleep and woke up the first time after 7 hours instead of multiple times per night. I think my snoring/sleep apnea continues to wake me up and not even realize what is doing it. Last night was an uninterrupted sleep. For that reason alone I am giving an initial 4 stars. If it keeps up, this is going to 5 stars.

This absolutely works to limit my snoring to almost nothing, but it's moving my teeth in the process. I already have a slight overbite caused by my lower teeth being angled forward, but this device is moving my upper teeth back and my lower teeth forward even more. That's an undesirable result. The product information and the seller says tooth soreness is common and will eventually subside. What they don't say is the sorenees is from pressure against your teeth which is how braces work. Yeah, the soreness will subside, but only after it moves your teeth to fit the guard's shape.. I did some research and found several dentists who said that any snore guard that isn't custom fit can realign your teeth. I'm sure they are trying to sell their custom guards, but that doesn't make them wrong. So, it's a trade off of better sleep versus the health and alignment of your teeth. Choose wisely.
