Hood 2 Hood, the Blockumentary is an action packed film that takes you on a tour through America's highest crime rated neighborhoods. Rich Kid Entertainment contacted all the underground hood connections from hoods across the country from California to New York, to the South and Midwest. Their connections opened the doors to their hoods and allowed them to capture the day-to-day actions of life in a crime-infested neighborhoods.

It's not great but it's mostly nostalgia cause I miss my city Vallejo and few of my friends who are no longer alive are in it.

Fascinating portrait of delusion and hypocrisy
Anyone interested in the role-models and identity of urban black American men should watch this video. My one complaint is that Hood2Hood could have benefited from some major editing - one could easily skip two hours of this three hour video without missing anything. The same scene is played out again and again... Gangsta claims it's tough out on the streets, and he does what he has to in order to eat, then flashes an impossibly huge wad of bills. Gangsta brags about the crimes he's pulled off or the jail time he's done, then complains about being harassed by the cops. Gangsta tells of the friends and family he's lost due to violence, then pulls a pistol out of his waistband and wildly claims he'll kill anyone who looks at him wrong. It's a strange exhibition of people proudly reveling in a role the rest of our society finds shameful and repugnant. This is a stark and real portrait of how bravado, misogyny, and flashy materialism have taken over what it means to be young, poor, and black in America. I don't have a solution for their plight, I only know change will have to come from within.

totally sad
This DVD is one giant stereotype of black and Hispanic inner city culture (mainly black). If what you crave is watching ignorant worthless trash degrade their race and self deprecate themselves then this DVD is for you. Once you have seen a few segments you have seen them all.
