I believe its the newer edition. Smells the same as it has always smelt.

Is this the same as the original Years ago?

No - unfortunately not. Very pleasant, still just recognisable but none of the wonderfully complex wow of the ancient original that was my first choice in the in the pre 2000s. Packaging still the same and I still buy it nostalgically. At least it is much cheaper nowadays. Hope this helps. EXIBISH
