As advertised
Ordered these to create roasting sticks that the kids could decorate during our summer camping trip. Measurements were spot on, quick shipping, fair prices. The kids loved having their own custom roasting sticks for s'mores.

Confirmed - It’s a Dowel.
They are dowels. What do you want from me? No cracks, checks, or splits in package. Smooth OD. I use primarily for flush cut pins and didn’t check straightness. Size seems a little under specification but work fine.

Good dowels
They're true to size, some a little thicker than others, but overall they're pretty consistent. Used these as supports for a prop gun and they hold up very well!

They are not the same size.
I ordered these and got 1" dowels. That is not the fault of the seller, it's Amazon. I kept them and changed my stuff to fit them. I ordered another set and they were slightly undersized and did not fit perfectly. For most stuff they are accurate enough, but they are different sizes.

Great for macrame!
The dowels are fairly smooth, no splintering that I've seen and doesn't snag on the cotton I use. The ladder/cord holder I made demonstrates how durable they are too with at least 15lbs worth of cord. True to size at 12".

Great wooden Tool!
I really like this wooden pottery tool set. The tools are simple, practical, and easy to use, making them perfect for my pottery classes. They are especially useful for beginners because they are easy to handle and give students the right tools to work with clay. The quality is good for the price, and having several different tools in one set makes teaching much easier. A great addition to my pottery supplies!
