Great phone holder for a Mark 7 ford fiesta I bought this phone holder because it looked like it would fit well. I have not been disappointed it takes a 7 inch screen phone and has legs to avoid the side buttons. Construction seems very robust before all of the major pivot points are made of sturdy plastic which is also quite small and the suction cup of the holder is ideal to fit very nicely on the blanking plate above the heater controls on the Mk7 Fiesta a very sturdy mount directly in the center where it is most securely placed on the dashboard this also gives the remainder of the device an upwards direction so that you can mount your phone a few inches above the gearstick the ideal location for Spotify or apps. The audio cable can be rooted quite nicely down to the analog port next to the car power socket producing a fairly neat effect. It will not break or fall off in a hurry. Good, durable phone holder. my last one held up for just over a year before it started to slip down the window (think that was due to sun melting the glue) but even then it was relatively difficult to remove it so definitely good suction. Always held my phone, never dropped it etc. For the price, it’s good!

Looks good so far. Easy to assemble and seems sturdy. The only question is how firm the attachment to the dashboard is; will it fall off unexpectedly? I'll have to let you know.

The windscreen is the obvious alternative but I find it obstructs my sightline more than a lower dashboard position does, so dashboard adhesion was the primary requirement. The suction cup mechanism combines standard suction with an adhesive gel layer underneath, which is what Blukar claims gives it superior grip on non-glass surfaces. On the windscreen it performs well: once the lever is pressed down and the adhesive engages, the mount is genuinely immovable and the phone has not shifted even on particularly rough roads. On the dashboard surface of my car, however, the hold is considerably less reliable. After a week of installation it began to rock slightly, and within a fortnight it needed replacing to a windscreen position. This is consistent with what several reviewers describe, and appears to depend heavily on the specific texture and curvature of your particular car's dashboard. The phone-holding mechanism is good. The spring-loaded arms grip a Pixel 7 Pro in its case without difficulty, the one-button release works as described, and the 360-degree ball joint allows enough adjustment to find a comfortable viewing angle from the driver's seat. The build feels solid: no rattling, no flex in the arm, and the plastic construction is heavier than the price might suggest. The adhesive caveat that American reviewers raise is important: the gel backing means that repositioning after the first installation degrades the hold, so think carefully about placement before committing. A 24-hour settling period before loading it with a phone is advisable and consistent with the instructions. At £9.99 the value is reasonable for windscreen use. For dashboard mounting, I would recommend testing your car's specific surface before relying on it for long journeys, or considering the gel-pad variant instead.

I’ve been pleasantly surprised by this car phone holder. It was quick to install, and while it sadly didn't stick to my dashboard, it attached firmly to my windscreen without any issues. Once on the window, it stayed securely in place. The arm is easy to adjust, and the 360° rotation makes it simple to position the phone exactly where I want it for navigation. The one-button release is convenient, especially when getting in and out of the car frequently. My phone feels secure even when driving over speed bumps or uneven roads, and there’s been no wobbling. It fits my smartphone well, and the grip feels sturdy without making it difficult to remove the phone. Overall, although it wasn't compatible with my dashboard surface, it works really well on the windscreen and does exactly what I need it to do. If it continues to perform this well over time, I'd be happy to recommend it. Not bad for the price.

It's been on the car for 2 days and so far so good. Hasn't fallen off in the heat of the sun. It is as advertised. I like that you can adjust the arm all sorts of ways, even telescopic! I was able to pull it close to me. There's an adhesive to the suction, once it's on.. it's on! I wish I knew that before putting it on the windshield. I tried to re-adjust but it was very difficult to get it off due to the adhesive on the suction. The part that holds the phone in place could be better. I wish it held the phone tighter. My phone hasn't fallen off, but it just doesn't feel 100% secure. But Imean, it does everything that is advertised so can't complain!

Ich habe nach einer zuverlässigen Halterung für mein Auto gesucht, die nicht an den Lüftungsschlitzen befestigt werden muss, und bin hier absolut fündig geworden. Ich nutze sie jetzt seit einiger Zeit auf dem Armaturenbrett und bin restlos begeistert. Die wichtigsten Punkte im Überblick: Extrem starker Saugnapf: Das war meine größte Sorge, aber die Halterung hält wirklich bombenfest auf dem Armaturenbrett. Selbst bei holprigen Straßen, Schlaglöchern oder scharfen Kurven wackelt hier absolut nichts. Kinderleichte Bedienung: Das Einsetzen und Herausnehmen des Handys ist extrem "easy". Man braucht keine zwei Hände und muss nicht umständlich herumfummeln. Das Einklicken und Lösen funktioniert flüssig und absolut alltagstauglich. Gute Positionierung: Da sie auf dem Armaturenbrett sitzt, hat man das Smartphone (z. B. für die Navigation) perfekt im Blickfeld, ohne dass es die Sicht auf die Straße versperrt. Fazit: Für mich die perfekte Handyhalterung fürs Auto. Sie tut genau das, was sie soll: Sie hält bombenfest und lässt sich kinderleicht bedienen. Wer eine stressfreie Lösung sucht, kann hier bedenkenlos zugreifen. Von mir gibt es eine klare Kaufempfehlung und verdiente 5 Sterne!

I also like that it opens with a small push button on the back. Additionally, this isn't just a normal suction style mount - it also has a strong adhesive on the suction cup. Because of the adhesive, you want to make sure you're doubly confident in where you want it, because repositioning it will compromise some of the initial hold you'll get when you first peel off the backing.
