This is honestly perfect for an at home haircut. I’m just a mom of 5 boys. I’ve been straight up buzzing their hair with a number 2 or 3 since they were each a year old (def not a pro). I have teenagers now and the hairstyle that’s popular is a fade apparently. Last school year I took only my oldest to a barber shop and it cost me $50. To some people I’m sure that’s not a lot but I can’t just drop $250 +tip on hair cuts, for all of my boys, every few months. This was 100% worth the $25 spent. I watched a lot of videos and started on the kid who cared least if I messed up. Out of all the videos I watched none of them said what # to cut the bottom half at to start. Don’t judge me, I don’t know technical terms, I literally don’t know what I’m doing. Anyway, chicky nuggie face I started with a #2 and tried to fade with the blend frend but quickly realized that might’ve been too low and you can really see where I made my line around his head but it’s not terrible. The next kid I used a #3 and it blended so much nicer but also his head shape is different so I’m not sure if that has anything to do with it or not. I feel like it was pretty easy to use but I had to go over the same section a few times to get it looking right and obviously in turn took much longer than our typical straight buzz. I feel like the tool itself is durable and held up just fine with 5 cuts done. This saved me a lot of money for this back to school season and my boys look great. Broke mom approved!

This product made blending white clients happen smooth. Absolutely horrible for black clients doesn’t work on coarse hair

This was a great purchase! I have three boys and recently started cutting their hair at home, and this fade comb has made a huge difference. These are not necessary in my opinion. The idea is they help fade haircuts, but after the first 3-4 times cutting hair I had the fading technique down. Useful for beginners but that’s really it

My dad cuts my hair and I bought this so he can use it while cutting my hair. It's nice for the most part, but he still has to do some hair cutting using a regular comb to make it look good.

The product itself is good quality, it’s flexible, and I am sure it will do a great job for adults. But despite the company assuring me that it would be fine for children / toddlers, it is WAY too big. If they made one that was a smaller scale, I would absolutely be interested. I tried on our 3.5 year old who sits great for every haircut, and you just physically cannot angle the comb to be flush against their head and slide it up with the size that it is. *And my picture isn’t showing it in use obviously, but just showing the size of the tool against the side of my younger son’s head. I tested just running the comb through so I didn’t trim his hair down to a 1 guard for no reason. I DID attempt it on my 3.5 year old son, and it was impossible, and just finished his fade as I normally do and without the tool*

This fade comb helps me do my boys hair, is really useful for me because I just started cutting their hair at home

Ho provato il pettine Blend Frend misto di grado 1 (3 mm) e devo dire che è davvero un ottimo accessorio per tagliare i capelli corti. Sfuma i capelli in modo molto naturale e uniforme, rendendo il taglio professionale anche a casa. È facile da montare e usare, compatibile con quasi tutti i tagliacapelli che ho provato. Un vero must per chi ama avere un look curato senza andare dal barbiere troppo spesso. Consiglio vivamente a chi cerca un pettine sfumino di qualità semplice ed efficace!

Hervorragendes Produkt. Sehr gute Verarbeitung und Qualität. Lässt sich gut in der Hand halten und die Handhabung ist kinderleicht. Übergänge gelingen wie beim Friseur und kinderleicht. Die beigefügte Anleitung wird kaum gebraucht aber sie ist da. Kann man nur weiterempfehlen 👍

It obviously works but what is NOT obvious is the fact that they don’t clearly state it’s for a minimal hair length (size 1 clipper spacer) and not shorter.. So I’m stuck with zero use of the product unless I grow my hair beyond the minimal length..

Saw the tutorial, tried it, had to go to the barber to fix the mushroom. He laughed at me too

Brilliant, my son struggles severely with haircuts however he lets me do it and this makes it so much easier to do and the results are amazing
