Umbra Conceal 330638-560 Book Shelf,Silver,Small

I saw this in a magazine a few years ago and it immediately intrigued me (the magazine not showing the shelf merely a neat pile of booked seemingly floating in air!). It's simple in design but a fun addition to many rooms - just don't try and take the bottom book away! It's sturdy and comes with the wall fixings and is easy to attach to a wall. The only downside was that the cover of the lowest book, hangs down at the bottom but I simply put a good spread of sticky tac which kept it in place and kept the illusion of floating books intact. A fun piece of wall art rather than a book shelf though it could be used as such for a small amount of books.

A simple to use, creative alternative to buying a normal book shelf, if you are short of space or just want to be a bit different, this product is definitely the first one to go for. I read about it on sites and decided to give it a go and I'm glad i did. It looks nice (because you can't see it once it's installed) and doesn't take up a lot of space.------------------------------Update (December 2014)------------------------------Wow, it's been ages, I'm still here and so is this thing. Currently it has 14 books of varying weight, shape and size (don't judge!) stacked on it and it has not broken, been damaged or anything.I still recommend it, if it's no longer sold, buy a similar product!

These are great. Put some on a wall above a staircase to store some board games and they look terrific. The book over the shelf idea works really well and it's looks amazing having your stuff just floating there. Only thing I didn't like is that the screw holes are not countersunk, but it doesn't really cause a problem.

My husband caught a blue marlin many years ago and had the nose stuffed and mounted. Up until now we have found nowhere to put it and now it has pride of place in our living room. Looks fantastic the shelf is exactly what we wanted. Anyone thinking of buying one go right ahead it really is as good as it looks. Fantastic buy very sturdy and very easy to put up. don't know why some people complained that it wasn't sturdy enough can only imagine they didn't put it up right which would be hard to do as a child could manage it. Thank you really really pleased.

We had 2 of them already in our leaving room to support the TV and music speakers. Myhusband really wanted his sound system all over the leaving-room. I was not keen on having it transformed into a Currys show room:-) So these shelves were a wonderful compromise. We hid them with very old (and nice) books, painted them as the walls and they are invisible. On top of that they are very intriguing for our visitors who look at them curiously and don't always dare to ask any question about it(and we do not unveil our secret:-)!!!

I've purchased bookshelf in the past but we do have kids at home and it was not possible for me to keep anything rest nicely on bookshelf stand until i found this one. At first sight, I was quite illusional and surprising how this mount on wall but it actually work. The only point worth mentioned you need hardcover books and it give wobbly feeling that it won't handle heavy large books (max. 5). I have mount this right above head side of my bed and the first comment i get "change your bed direction" due to the wobbly and illusion feeling. Overall its good value for money.

BRILLIANT Display for books. At last somewhere to showcase my books, loving the fact it's different to the normal book case displays. Very easy to install....loving the bracket so much have just purchased more so as I can make a feature wall.

I installed one of these and the first thing I noticed was that the bottom book cover kept flapping down. It has to be pushed right into the little lip. That is a small piunt but what I was less keen on is that the shelf is not very strong and will only hold a few hardbacks. just enough to cover the back panel that gives the illusion of floating. Overall it is OK but I wanted a larger pile of larger books and they would not be supported and a larger book (bigger than A5) does not work.

Ik vind dit echt een hele leuke manier om je boeken te showen aan de muur. Het ziet er super leuk uit! Ga er zeker meer bijkopen om de muur (vol) te hangen.
