Pros: I like the positive controls. The on and off switch is positive and actually clicks. The volume is easy to use and has a click sound. The earbuds are very nice ones and I think will be good for a long time. It charges quickly and has a long charge life. Does well with audiobooks in pausing and bookmarking. I really like its pink color. Cons: Not compatible with Audible.com. I use the library for audio books. Sometimes it is hard to actually find the book the first time. The screen is small and I need my reading glasses to read it. I still like this little gadget but I find hat the earbugs have not lasted long. Suddenly, there is no sound whatsoever. They look good, but alas they are fragile All that being said. I have just lost my Klangtop. (Who in the world thought that was a good name?) I have just searched again for a replacement and will replace it with another Klangtop. I use a Sandisk clip jam for music. The Klang for books. The best way to find something that is lost is to replace it, right?

I've been using this product for several weeks and haven't had any trouble with it. Its small, which is what I was looking for. And I like that it has an actual on/off switch. I've mostly been using the Bluetooth setting and it connects fairly quickly and easily to previously used devices. Connecting to new devices takes a little longer, but hasn't been a major issue. The only irritating part is that the music, when using the Bluetooth setting, seems to be listed in order of most recent addition and are listed by file name not by song title. Otherwise, this is a very good product, it functions well and the sound is good.

I love the color, the lightness and extremely large amount of storage, and the bluetooth feature. I bought this when I thought I lost my SanDisk clip, but since found. Still, this has some distinct advantages, not the least is that it will be easier to find (in pink) than the black clip that was difficult to find when dropped. I also like the switch on the side of the unit for the on/off button since it's less likely it will go on accidentally when carrying in my purse or pocket - which frequently happened with the SanDisk, leaving me with no power left while traveling. I had no problem transferring music from my laptop using the provided cord, but my laptop software did not remember the connection (when I renamed it) , and it took me awhile before I realized that it treated the SD Card as a separate unit. Plus is that there is LOTS of space on both drives. Planning to transfer some of my old music that I had purged from the SanDisk. The bluetooth does not work with the radio and some of the other features, a minor issue for me, but it means I still need to bring along my sport earphones, since I often listen to the radio. I've used it since my purchase (a few weeks) for radio broadcasts, my albums, a lecture series, and plan to add more books, possibly in downloadable formats. The radio reception is about the same as with the Sandisk - in certain areas static, but mostly excellent. I haven't tried it yet in more remote places, but hoping it has a bit more powerful antenna. A few of the annoying features: You may need to select either the internal memory or the card during playback, which I'm actually thinking might work well for me, since I'll keep my preferred music internal, and books and other longer items on the SD card. Visibility of screen in the sun is difficult, so can't always choose the right album on bright days. I usually play albums, but will try other options. However, the information during the playback is very sketchy. My Sandisk allowed me to scroll through the full title of the song, and continued through the album name and artist and other saved information. This doesn't even have the entire Album name or song name displayed, which I do find annoying which means that some pertinent information which may be at the end of the album name is not visible. Nevertheless, I like this and will continue to explore more uses. I'm keeping both since they have different pluses, and on long hikes, I used to run out of power on the SanDisk. Hoping this will more than double my listening capacity. Planning to update this in another month.

I am a music person, and when i lost my last one. I had to get another one. This is a great little player. The sound quality is amazing.Not really a pink person, but I do like its color because its bright, which is good because if it falls there is no way it's going to blend in and not be seen. the only drawback that i have seen thus far is that the shuffle feature does not stay on, you have to keep turning it on every time you turn it on. Other than that. It's a great little mp3 player and a reasonable price too. i can see myself buying another to replace it should anything happen to this one.

I received this product a few months ago, and just now started to use it (my former MP3 was on its way out). I only use these small machines to play music from a small mini disk. I could not even get my mini disk into the mp3 player!! Yes, it was the right size, the disk would go in, but it didn't click into place, I tried EVERYTHING! I am so upset, this was such a waste of money.

Bought one of these (black) for my husband. It sounded so much better than the music on my phone, I just had to have one. This player is so tiny I forget I'm wearing it when it's clipped on my shirt or shorts. I work in my rather large garden every day for 2 hours, and it is so much more pleasant with music. I also have bluetooth speakers in the master bath so I can play my music while I'm showering. Have to charge it about every 3-4 days, but it's easy to charge through my computer in a short time, so no problem. Have about 5 albums on mine now (lazy and hooked on a certain artist right now), but my husband has much more. I bought mine in the Rose Gold color so I wouldn't pick up my husband's by accident - I hate his music. Highly recommended little player!

Pros: Small and compact. Cute exterior design. Easy to use on/off button Cons: 1) bad Bluetooth audio quality. There is a consistent static when you are using bt to listen to music. I tried pairing it to 3 different bt headsets (Sony, Skull candy, and LG) and all of them have the same static background sound regardless of volume. When you are using actual wired headphone the audio quality is fine. ONLY bt has the static noise. 2) short battery life. Listened to it on my flight and only lasted 4 hours MAX, which is not what was advertised (30hours). 3) clunky menu design. Redundant menu flow and really difficult to use. Unable to adjust music setting because there is no equalizer option. I will most likely be returning this product because my main expectations (compact bt mp3 player with acceptable quality sound) are not met.

05/27/2019 - Update I received my replacement. Unfortunately, I still have the same problem: rewind and fast forward often lock the player. Especially if you went a long time without using these buttons. Today I played a different set of items (all from my SD card), and my first attempt to rewind encountered a 'locked' status. I would recommend it ONLY if you don't use rewind and fast forward often or if you don't care that the player locks itself. It's an un-expensive option. I still like the ability to use an external card and I still believe that customer service was excellent. --------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- 05/07/2019 - Upgrading from 2 to 3 stars as a result of the updates on items below. 1. I reached out to support. It turns out that the player defaults a setting to screensaver -> Clock. If you change to None, it doesn't lock automatically. Still, half of the times I try to rewind or fast-forward, it locks instead. 2. I suggested that #1 might be because of #2 and that I might have received a defecitve unit in which the whole panel wobbles.. WE ARE IN THE PROCESS OF EXCHANGING UNITS. If the new unit works better, I will upgrade my rating from 3 stars to ... we'll see. May I add that: A. Customer service is EXCELLENT. Both in response to a direct message to Klangtop, and as a response to my review. B. I like the fact that there is a slot for memory card since I like the flexibility of taking my audios to whatever device I am using. --------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- ORIGINAL REVIEW Good price but: 1. It locks itself while listening. There is no way to default it so that it will remained unlocked. This is my deal-breaker. 2. Cheap build. I am afraid of touching the buttons as they look as if they care going to come out. 3. Blue tooth does not connect automatically (as when I connect with my phone). I might return it.
