I love Birkenstocks. However, normally overtime the footbed of the Birkenstock will collect oils, sweat, and dirt which leaves a footprint/dark straining. I gotten this SoxsolS insole liner to help keep my new Arizona Birkenstock footbed clean. With this insole liner it prevents the footbed of having that dark nasty footprint. This is perfect for these who have sweaty feet and want to keep the footbed clean. The insole stays in place with the silicone backing and fits perfectly. This insole is true to size. Also keep in mind this wide insole cut is made for Birkenstock that are regular/wide width. They do sell insoles for the medium/narrow width in their storefront. Overall will recommend this item to any Birkenstock lover.

I use these in my Birkenstock Arizona slides to absorb the moisture from my feet. They keep the suede footbed cleaner too. Be sure to order a size smaller or you may have to trim them down. Love how they stay in place on the footbed and easy to machine wash. This last pair took a month to get and the wool upper material was separating from the silicone sole bottom and frayed. I trimmed the edge and glued the edges together.

This is the only merino insole I could find that seems to be useful for warm weather. Most wool insoles are thick, furry or felted items that are intended to keep feet warm. I like to wear thin merino in warm weather, though, because it resists odor, and I plan to see whether these can be used that way in summer footwear such as sandals. The design seems good, allowing you to trim to the size and shape you want. It doesn't have a cushioning effect, which is what I wanted; something thin and unobtrusive. The weather hasn't been warm enough yet for me to wear sandals, but I plan to update this review after I've tested the product.

Size 45 fits a mens size 10 shoe. I love Crocs except to wear them barefoot. They become stinky and feet sweat against that product.Wearing socks during the summer is hot and uncomfortable so I tried to find anything that would work.I can't tell you how many things I've had to return.These are perfect. The silicone sticks to the bottom and the remove easily and wash and dry just like new. I have silicone arch supports in there too (plantar fasciitis) and the insoles do not to impede the intended purpose of the sports, and actually help to hold them in place.Highly recommend.My daughter ordered them for her hubby and kids 12 &9 as they live in their Crocs.She's happy with them as well.

These are nice but they do not work in my sandals. They move around and would have to be glued or somehow secured.

I was hoping to have a new pair of sandals. The fit was perfect! However, even after waiting for them for over a month, I wore them to the store. I should have returned them for a refund because they would not stay in my shoes and I took them off and disposed of them in the trash. I hope they work for whomever else buys them. Maybe I was being too particular.

I used these inserts in a brand new pair of barefoot canvas loafers, worn without socks. I typically use 100% felted merino wool inserts that do an excellent job of wicking away moisture and absorbing any foot odor, but I was looking for something a bit thinner so as not to distract from the barefoot feel of my barefoot shoes. While these insoles were thin enough for my needs, that's about all they got right. Yes, you won't see any staining on the bed of your shoes with these, obviously, the insoles are black. However, you will see staining on your feet (or socks, if you're wearing any) from the dye of the insoles. Not a good trade off, in my opinion.The moisture wicking properties are 1 star, at best. There is simply not enough wool, or the wool is far too low quality, to sufficiently absorb moisture. With temps right around 90 F, my feet felt damp and sweaty all day, despite the good ventilation of my shoes' canvas uppers.Odor absorption I'd rate at 2 stars. Despite the sweat, my shoes didn't stink at the end of the day, but they definitely had a "damp" odor to them. The odor was mild, but noticeable.Comfort I'd rate at 3 stars. If you want or need arch support or heavy cushion, you will definitely be disappointed. The insoles are quite thin and completely flat. Of course, this is precisely what I personally wanted so I can't down-rate for that. However, the wool layer, thin as it is, is rather rough and scratchy. My feet are not terribly sensitive, but even I found the roughness noticeable. Not the best feature for an insole meant to be used without socks. On the upside, the tacky bottom did a great job of keeping the insole firmly in place. Not so much as a slip or a bunch, not even when sliding in and out of my shoes. So I guess they got that part right as well.I wanted these to work, but sadly, they came up rather short. I'll be going back to my regular 100% merino wool inserts for my loafers. They're thicker than I'd like, but at least they're 5 star where it counts. As for sandals, I'll continue to skip the inserts entirely. I'd rather have stained shoe beds than stained feet.

I bought these to wear with a pair off fancy slip on deck type shoes that I did not want to have to wear socks with. They feel very nice on the bottom of my feet. The silicon backing seems to keep them in place while the foot contact material is very comfortable and seems to absorb sweat. I did have to trim them to fit the foot bed of my shoes but that was easy enough to do since the foot bed was removable. I will definitely purchase these again.
