Hobbywing 10BL120 esc and motor set
I could have missed this but just so people know. The motor shaft is 3.7 not 5. Both my son and me are always impressed with hobbywing products. And this doesn't disappoint. 1 of these kits I used in my Traxxas 2wd slash LCG drag car Just a few points 1 get your self the programmer 2 if you have a 5m pinion gear you need a 3.7 to 5m shaft adapter. 3 these come with tx60 battery connectors so if you have T plug you will need an adapter. And in my case in my LCG chassis the esc Wouldn't line up with the screw holes. In the manual they have a template to drill the holes and put the screws from bottom up. I have purchased many of these and all Have performed great. Speed I am still working on with adjustments and gearing, timing etc. Very impressive at a fair cost. 1 set is in my 4x4 slash and 1 in my 2wd drag slash.

10/10
I brushless swapped my first RC10GT for my son with a GOOLRC 3800ish kv 2S combo and, tbh, it was pretty good. This HOBBYWING combo blows that out of the water. I can roast the tires at any speed if i want or hook up and be gone. Fantastic. No cogging at all at 2S with a big pinion gear. Perfect for any 2wd buggy or stadium truck on 2S. I havent tried it with a 3S battery but i think that would be perfect for a light short course truck. My only complaint is an intermittent hesitation between forward and reverse. It still brakes very well, but reverse is hit and miss. Despite that, I still love it. Couldnt be happier with my purchase. Thank you, HOBBYWING ๐.

Hobbywing Never Disappoints
Itโs been great for the price you canโt pass it up and itโs a great esc and motor combo compared to ones Iโve bought that were triple the price. I wanted to get a brushless setup for my stock Kyosho Fazer MK-2 and I can say this setup on 2s it rips hard I honestly may have to tune the setting with the program card but she smokes tires now lol, stays pretty cool for me and can get warm but nothing that seems like a fire hazard the esc fan cuts right on soon as it get up in temps. Performance wise it works amazingly for my Kyosho Fazer Mk-2 4WD touring Car and it gives it the right amount of speed and torque needed, not too much and not to low but you can program it as I said before to get the best out of it see where your sweet spot is for you and your setup. Would most definitely buy if your looking for a great brushless ESC abd Motor Setup Update Jan 4th 2025- motor is going strong and is performing like a beast I forgot to say if you smell a funny scent coming from the ESC out the package, itโs most likely a little bit of waterproof coating that got on the ESC but no issues at all for me I can say

Definitely an awesome setup
Put it in a traxxas slash/rustler custom lcg build and it rips, didnt overheat and hauls ass hahaha. The programming card is sweet so its a major bummer they dont just come with it. Put it in a tt02b just to see what it did and it was awesome but too much power on the drive train, so definitely dont recommend for a tamiya with plastic diff or driveshaft because itll grenade lol. But yeah its a sweet setup.

Great combo!
This is a great combo. I've used it on a couple RC builds. I ordered this one to set aside for the next project. Would recommend to anyone upgrading from a brushed setup or for a kit build.

Will be buying more in future.
I just recently got back in RC cars, boats, etc... since being out of the game for 20+ years. I believe this is what I used to upgrade my old Losi XXT truck. It was a quick and easy swap of parts. The esc easily synced up with the cheap 2.4 GHz controller I got for and it was ready to rip. And rip it did! This truck was moving way faster than even my quickest brushed cars. Only problem is, I blew through 2 plastic diff gears and can't find a replacement. Thinking I may just lock the diff and go to town with this thing til I blow the body off if it.

Double check you click your motor size..
Wrong size motor.( My fault) Needed a 3660 got a 3652 by mistake.. i bought this hobbyeing combo to replace a burnt esc on a arrma quake 223s. 2 of the motor fan blades broke off i didnt know it motor siezed and caught esc on fire. The esc is quieter higher amps for running 3s harder and staying cooler. Paired it with a bumborc x6 transmitter with built in gyro. Have new 3660 motor on the way. Will update on performance..

Nice ESC Combo
Good combo kit. I used the esc for my Senton 4x4 BLX that failed for no reason. Reliable products from Hobbywing
