The media could not be loaded. I've become quite a flashlight nerd and find myself picking up Wurkkos flashlights to try out, and eventually give to friends/family as gifts. This one does not disappoint and is high on my recommendation list. It's a good size for pocket carry unless you have small/tight pockets. The TIR lens on this light provides the perfect balance between flood (big, wide beam) and throw (tight, long-distance) for an EDC type light. The tailcap switch is good for those who want simple operation, especially during a time of stress.The light is USB C rechargeable which to me is a must for people who don't use flashlights as a hobby. I have dedicated battery chargers, but with the USB C input, you can take this while traveling and use the same charger as your phone to recharge the light. The battery indicator is clear enough - green for 50%-100%, red for 20%-50%, and flashing red for less than 20%. A full battery will last you many hours on medium, and up to 2 on high - very nice.Lastly, output - the light is extremely bright and capable of illuminating an entire household room by bouncing it off the ceiling.Overall, very pleased with the light.

Very pleased so far with its performance. It has a lot of power in a small package that easily fits in your pocket. Battery life is good with its 3000 mah battery. Good all around light for when you need one and not expensive.

I recently evaluated the Wurkkos TD02 LED Flashlight, and it exceeded my expectations. Despite its affordable price, this flashlight packs a punch. The brightness in Turbo does not appear to meet the claimed lumens, but it is still quite bright. However, the run times exceeded the advertised claims by at least 20%-35%, and the stepdowns in brightness are on par with comparable flashlights.The Total Internal Reflection (TIR) lens paired with the Luminus SST40 LED provides impressive brightness. A hardened glass lens cover protects the SST40, and the body is made using heat-treated aluminum alloy for long-term strength. The included 3000mAh Li-ion 18650 rechargeable battery is efficient, and the Type-C USB charging is convenient with a secure rubber plug. The onboard charging rate measured was around 1.5A, with charging terminating around 4.18V (± 0.02V).The light's User Interface (UI) is simple to use, with a rear tactical switch controlling all six modes (including strobe) plus mode memory to power on the light in the same mode it was last used. The knurling on the tube offers a secure grip; however, the clip is just the standard single-direction type. I would have liked to see it come with a reversible hat-belt clip.The light's build quality is excellent, having an IPX8 rating, made from 6061-grade aluminum alloy, and the rear battery cap is easy to remove to swap out batteries if needed. However, unlike the TD03 and TD04, which have a momentary switch in the tail cap, the TD02 just features mode changes and on/off functions.Overall, the Wurkkos TD02 is an impressive budget light that delivers exceptional performance. Another great product from Team Wurkkos. If you are looking for a tailswitch operated, simple user interface, 18650 burner, then take a serious look at the TD02.The first thing I noticed was the subdued anodizing and the aggressive looking ribbing (knurling). They give the TD02 a tactical appearance and the ribbing provides a solid purchase area while using the tailswitch.All threads where smooth operating.The tailswitch requires a firm press to turn on and off, however it is sensitive when changing modes. Speaking of modes, you will find these very easy to select. I'm a huge fan of the more advanced user interfaces and the fun one can have discovering their many modes, however I prefer a simple interface for a tactical flashlight.The beam has a very defined spot and fair anount of flood. The temperature is very cool and I didn't notice any flickering of the intensity.The TD02 is packaged with a 3000mah18650 battery, pocket clip, lanyard, two spare orings, instructions, and a USB A to C charge cable.When I first operated the TD02, I was thinking, why not an e-switch? After operating the tailswitch, I realized that would not have been ideal on a tactical flashlight and that the more positive on/off of a traditional "clicky" tailswitch was the right choice.I would highly recommend the TD02 to anyone looking for a high quality, moderately priced, simple to operate flashlight.
