Excellent Dash Cam - Great Features and Support
I've been using the Pelsee P12 Pro for over 18 months now and I must say it’s one of the best dash cams I’ve owned. The 4K quality is crystal clear, and the ADAS features are very helpful for daily driving.

Fantastic dash camera. Highly recommended
We have two cars and the Pelsee brand is in mine. Been using dash cams for a while now and this is one of the best I've used. So easy to set up and works flawlessly. I've had to use it a few times now for near minor collisions, and reported an incident of dangerous driving to the police through its footage. Images are crystal clear both on video and still. I would highly recommend this dash cam.

Good camera with one Big flaw
Camera was easy to set up and provides really good quality footage. Everything you need to get up and running is included in the box including a memory card which is a nice touch. The mirror has voice control and you can switch between having the screen off (which due to the reflective nature of the device acts like a normal mirror), front camera, rear camera or both cameras at once. Voice control is good and picks up the commands most of the time. Now the flaw... The rear camera has a built ins reversing camera mode and was one of the reasons I purchased this model. To use this, there is a red wire coming from the rear camera that gets connected to your reversing light positive terminal. When you activate reverse the camera flips into reverse mode and 2 grid lines are shown to assist with distance. These can be adjusted up and down to help perfect distance measurement but the width CANNOT be adjusted. So in my case, the guidelines are way narrower than the actual vehicle. Yes, you have your mirrors but it would have been good to be able to adjust the width too for extra reassurance for wide long vehicles. Be aware of this fact before you buy

P12 mirror and rear camera product support
I have been using the Pelsee P12 camera for 18 months , it is fitted to my VW T5 camper van and has always provided clear, accurate viewing at rear of vehicle. Recently l had need to contact Pelsee support about an issue with my rear camera and highly compliment Shealyn on a superb experience, it was helpful, friendly and professional, my new camera arrived and now fitted. I have no hesitation in purchasing from Pelsee knowing they are good products, excellent support and respect of their customers.

No WiFi, blind spot not usable for reversing
The mirror looks quite nice. Nice and big and clear. The rear camera cable was more than long enough to reach the back of my hatchback. I think it's long enough for most if not all cars. The UI looks cheap and Chinese. The English is poor. The manual is short and not very useful. At least I can turn off the startup sound. The rear view angle isn't as wide as my car's reversing camera, but it's still a lot better than the rear view mirror. I was hoping I could use the blind spot monitoring as a cross traffic alert to tell me if there's a pedestrian or car behind me when I'm reversing, but it doesn't alert me in time for this to be useful. Most surprising, I can't connect to it using their app. This is very disappointing, especially for their most expensive "pro" model. Now I have to buy a micro SD card reader. And I won't be able to review footage at the time of a crash. In the day that I've had it, it's also crashed once. It rebooted quickly, so not the end of the world, but also not what you want to see in a device you can rely on. So basic functions are pretty good, but lots of things they could improve.

Amazing mirror dash cam
I have owned other branded mirror dash cams, this seems to be far superior in quality. The installation was straight forward and I have been able to conceal the wires. The quality of the video play back is excellent. The camera has a clear view in day light and at night, previous cameras that I have owned have had issues with night time video capture, however this camera does not suffer from that. Reversing has now been made even simpler with the aid of the mirror dash cam showing full high resolution rear view images. The menu screen is user friendly and easy to navigate. I have added images that show the final position and concealed wiring cables placed behind head lining. Images also show the power supply cable routed within window pillar and under dash to utility plug. I will be investing in a hard wire kit shortly. Utilising the supplied facia tool the cable to the rear camera location is lost behind the various finishes to provide a concealed installation with minimal disruption The kadjar facilitates easy access to run the rear camera cable through the tailgate by removing the rear light access cover on the tail gate and one of the hand pull recess moulding provides access to feed the cable to the camera postion. My images also show the camera mounted using two supplied screws with pilot holes into plastic number plate lighting assembly. I found a bonus a pre drilled hole is already provided on cars like mine where reversing cameras are not fitted as standard. I must add, the camera can be detatched from the cable by way of the very small inline multipin plug and socket. The only issue is the existing window cover for the auto wipers and lane assistance reduces the upper part of the cameras line of sight in this application, however, this is not the fault of the camera. overall very please with the camera and would recommend this brand over the others.

Bought this to try, as a driving instructor.
To start - as an instructor, low sun at this time of the year (autumn or indeed, spring) in the morning or evening is a total pain in the rear end. However, as I have to have a rear view mirror to see behind, I can't use the sun blind to help as this also causes the rear view mirror to be hidden. There was also a Dash Cam (not going to mention them by name (rhymes with 'text' and 'lace'), which needed replacing as it was complete $£!^. I saw another car on the road with a camera mirror and thought "Aha!". So off I start a searching for a rear view camera mirror and after trawling through Amazon review after Amazon review, I land on the Pelsee P12 Pro. It arrived and, whilst I knew it needed something to hold onto (it normally replaces the actual mirror in your car, in normal use), my little suction cup mirror was not up to the task of holding on to the Pelsee. So, a quick trip to Halfords and armed with a bigger suction mirror, proceeded to install the Pelsee. This was fairly painless as there is a device to push cables under the trim and it works well. I installed it as an instructor mirror to start with as I wanted to see how it would look and how it would perform. After a couple of emails back and forth with the amazing support team at Pelsee, I was able to set it up so that I had a view of the rear as I would with a regular mirror. This week, off I go with new electronic mirror in situ and so the testing started. Keep in mind that this review is from the perspective of a driving instructor, NOT my customers (who love the Pelsee it by the way). The width of the rear camera is excellent. It almost reaches the width of my door mirrors and allows me to see EVERYTHING behind, including what it right under the rear window. Night vision is also excellent and street lights bring the road alive. Obviously, there isn't anything one can do about country roads that are unlit. Damn you physics! As mentioned above, I had intended to then replace the internal rear view mirror with this but.. tiny points preclude me doing this - the width of the view of the camera means that objects such as other vehicles appear a little more distant than they really are if looking in a real, flat mirror. That makes judging for my customers, for example, when slowing down, a little more difficult. And that, is the only reason why I won't place it in the middle. For everything else, it is perfect. So, for other driving instructors, if you want to try this as a way of getting WAY more view of the rear of your vehicle, this Pelsee P12 Pro is 100% the way to go. It hasn't solved my being blinded by the sun, but it gives, by itself, more ability to duck behind the camera and not be blinded. As an experienced driver, I have quickly become accustomed to the distance objects behind are and that is no bother at all. Added bonus? It's a dash cam front and rear. I have tried using the memory card to read files. This is a problem for Mac users as it appears to be formatted in NTFS (a Windows file format for storage devices). I am currently installing some software to see if that allows access to the card and will update this review with my findings. So, for Windows users, I am expecting that all is OK, for Mac users, at the moment, not so much, which makes the Dash Cam part of this mirror, a little more of an annoyance when you want to use footage for lessons or to report some seriously suspect driving. Despite the file system problem, I already would not want to be without the mirror feature of this device and I am now on the look out for a proper method of attaching it to the Dashboard of the car so that I can use the sun blin. It's electronic, it can go anywhere. How's that for a feature. 100% recommended for driving instructor use if you are interested.

Great Dash Cam with Excellent Customer Support
I’ve been using the Pelsee P12 Pro mirror dash cam for a while now, and overall it’s been a solid experience. The video quality is clear (front and rear), the display is sharp, and features like night vision and parking mode work well in daily use. Installation was straightforward, and it adds a lot of convenience and safety while driving. I did face an issue with the rear camera wire later on, but the support team was responsive and helpful in resolving it, which I really appreciate. Overall, a reliable dash cam with good features and strong customer support. Worth considering if you’re looking for a mirror dash cam setup.

Nice Looking, Clear Picture, Good Quality
I purchased it to get rid of the old crappy one. I received it a couple of days ago and installed it the same day. Believe it or not, the installation is much easier than I was thinking. The product looks very nice and popular state-of-the-art design. After using several days it looks much better than the old one. It has high-definition video on the front with a very large screen and a back camera with a wide large reverse review. The video is great even during the dark country night. It also works very well when the temperature drops -23C today. It is a great combination of mirror, dash cam, and backup cam. I would recommend a wireless back camera instead of the long mess cable.

Fácil e eficiente
Muito fácil de usar e bem eficiente. Ele possui um GPS, mas ele não serve para usar em mapas e rotas e sim ele serve para identificar sua posição em fotos e vídeos que pode ser usados para provar onde você estava.

Update to: Love it, but has a few issues...
===== Update 1/9/2024 ===== Ok, so after emailing with support, they asked me if I bought the correct hard wire kit, which I hadn't. I had bought the one that Amazon was recommending. I had actually avoided buying the Pelsee brand one because it had low reviews because as some users reported, it would drain their car battery because it didn't have the Volt Protection Technology which turns off the dashcam if the car's battery voltage goes below something like 12.5 volts or something like that. The new one that Pelsee was now recommending to use had very high reviews and it specified that it has Low Voltage Protection built in. So I bought and installed the correct Hard Wire kit, which is this one: https://a.co/d/96tzm2u The major difference with the two different hard wife kits is that the original one that I bought only had one wire which connected to a fuse that had power all the time, so it was telling the dash cam to never turn off. The new Pelsee brand kit comes with two wires, one that connects to a fuse that is always on and one wire that connects to a fuse that has power only when the car is on and cuts off the power when the car goes off. After changing kits, I'm very happy to announce that the dashcam works perfectly as I would expect it to. It turns on when I turn the car on and it turns off only when I turn off the car. But not only that, but if you bump the car or mess with it in any way, the cash cam immediately records for the next 2 minutes, but the screen doesn't go on. It records covertly, which is simply awesome! I love it now and I just updated my rating from 2 stars to 5 stars. Way to go Pelsee!!! ====== Original Review Below ========= First of all, gotta say that I'm impressed with the quality of this mirror dash cam. It looks amazing. The night vision is insane! That said, there's a few issues that I hope they'll be able to fix. I installed it with a hard wire kit so that it can monitor the car 24/7. The kit only comes with 1 red wire and the instructions clearly state that if camera comes with parking mode, to connect that red wire to a fuse that has power even when car is off. So that's what I did. The problem is that the camera is always on, even when the car gets turned off, the display remains on all the time. Now, the mirrorcam comes with an auto shutoff feature as well as an auto screen-off feature. These features would be ideal, but there's another problem with them. I set the auto screen-off feature to turn off the display after 3 minutes of inactivity. And as I'm driving, it turns off every 3 minutes! I have to keep tapping the screen to keep turning it on! Pelsee... please update your software so that if the car is in motion, it detects that motion as "activity" and keeps the screen on. If it's detecting any speed or movement, it should not be considered "inactivity". Make sense? So that could be a simple fix. The other issue I found on my unit is that the auto shut off doesn't work at all. I set it for 1 minute, nothing. Then I set it for 3 minutes and nothing. It just never shut down at all. So that might need to get looked at. Another issue that popped up yesterday, we noticed that it tends to get pretty hot and when it does, it kinda shuts down and restarts on you. As we were driving, when we'd swipe the screen so it can show us the front camera, it would suddenly shut down and restart again. Then we'd swipe again so it could show us the rear camera and it would do a whole restart cycle again. But when the cam is cool, that doesn't happen. So that kinda worries me because we live in Yuma, AZ. Right now, the temperatures are still cool, but what will happen when the summer hits and the car's internal temps reach 200 degrees? I don't think it's going to survive one Yuma summer. So as I was saying... I'm so happy I finally have a dash cam. It's beautiful and I love that as it records full HD video, it's showing the direction I'm traveling as well as the speed, so that's cool. But I can only give it 2 stars until the issue of it always staying on gets fixed. That is really a big issue that I feel needs attention. And again, don't get me wrong. I DO want the camera on and monitoring the car 24/7, but it should be smart enough to detect when there's true inactivity, you know, the car off and no motion for 3 minutes and only then the display should turn off. Makes sense? Oh, and the hardwire kit I installed it with was the one Amazon recommended, which is this one: https://a.co/d/ceQLgKD
